Maurice J. Gallagher, Jr.
Chairman Chief Executive Officer
Maurice J. Gallagher, Jr. has been actively involved in the management of the company since he became the majority owner and joined the board of directors in June 2001. He has served as the chief executive officer since August 2003. Prior to his involvement with Allegiant, Mr. Gallagher devoted his time to his investment activities, including companies which he founded. One of these companies was Mpower Communications Corp., a telecommunications company, for which he served as acting chief executive officer from 1997 to 1999 and as chairman of the board from its inception in 1996 until March 2002. Mr. Gallagher was one of the founders of ValuJet Airlines, Inc. (one of the predecessors to AirTran Airways, Inc.) and served as an officer and director of ValuJet from its inception in 1993 until 1997. From 1983 until 1992, Mr. Gallagher was a principal owner and executive of WestAir, a commuter airline.
Andrew C. Levy
President
Andrew C. Levy has served as an officer of Allegiant since June 2001 and as Company president since October 2009. As president, Mr. Levy is responsible for the company's market planning, treasury activities, fleet planning, scheduling, fuel risk management, pricing, sales and marketing and corporate development. Previously, he held titles of managing director and chief financial officer for the Company. From February 1998 to March 2001, Mr. Levy held various management positions at Mpower Communications. From July 1996 to February 1998, Mr. Levy worked on airline advisory and transactional work as a vice president with Savoy Capital, an investment company focused on the aviation sector. From 1994 to 1996, Mr. Levy held various positions with ValuJet Airlines including director of contracts with responsibilities for stations agreements, insurance, fuel purchasing and other related activities.
Scott Sheldon
Chief Financial Officer Senior Vice President
Scott Sheldon was appointed chief financial officer and senior vice president in May 2010. He has also served as the Company's principal accounting officer since 2007. Previously, Mr. Sheldon served as the Company's vice president of accounting, after holding positions as accounting manager and director of accounting. Sheldon oversees all accounting, tax and financial reporting and financial planning and analysis. He is also responsible for the Company's insurance and risk management. Prior to joining Allegiant in 2004, Sheldon worked as a senior audit associate at Perry-Smith, LLP.
Kris Bauer
Senior Vice President, Operations
Kris Bauer joined Allegiant in May 2010 and oversees the company’s flight, maintenance, inflight, safety and station operations. Mr. Bauer was at Northwest Airlines for 14 years, where he held management positions such as Senior Vice President for Technical Operations, Vice President of Base Maintenance and Managing Director of Finance and Planning. Prior to joining Northwest, Mr. Bauer held various finance positions with United Airlines and before that he worked in engineering at The Boeing Company. Mr. Bauer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Kansas and a master’s in business administration from Cornell University.
Robert Barron
Vice President Maintenance & Engineering
Robert Barron assumed responsibility of Allegiant’s aircraft maintenance in April 2008, overseeing the condition and upkeep of Allegiant’s MD-80 series fleet. A licensed aircraft mechanic, Mr. Barron began his aviation career in 1970 as an Army helicopter crew chief in the Vietnam War. Mr. Barron joined Kitty Hawk Aircargo in 2004 as the vice president of maintenance and in 2005 was promoted to chief operating officer. He has also held leadership positions at US Airways, Timco Aviation Services and AirTran Airways
Jude Bricker
Vice President, Corporate Finance and Treasurer
Jude Bricker joined Allegiant in May 2006 as manager of fleet planning. He was promoted to director of fleet planning in 2007 and to his current position in 2010. Today, he oversees the acquisition of aircraft and engines, the raising of debt and equity capital and the company’s corporate development initiatives and cash management. Prior to joining Allegiant, Mr. Bricker held various positions with American Airlines and the US Marine Corps. He holds a master’s in business administration from the University of Texas.
James Carr
Vice President, Flight Operations
James Carr assumed oversight of Allegiant Air pilots, pilot training, system operations control and flight standards and safety in August 2003. With nearly 30 years experience in the commercial aviation industry, Mr. Carr served 10 years in the United States Air Force before beginning his pilot career at Air Florida in 1981. In 1983, he moved to America West where he started as a pilot, later moved to chief pilot and was eventually promoted to vice president of flight operations. From 1998 to 2003, Mr. Carr was a pilot and senior vice president of National Airlines.
Mary Grace Clements
Vice President of Customer Operations
Mary Grace Clements joined Allegiant in September 2003 as director of inflight service. In 2005, Ms. Clements was promoted to vice president of inflight service and soon after acquired additional responsibility within the company as vice president of people services. In her current position, Ms. Clements oversees the inflight and station operation teams. With more than 15 years experience in the aviation industry, Ms. Clements has held also management positions at both Midway Airlines and Pace Airlines.
Sean Hopkins
Vice President, Contracts & Supply Operations
Sean Hopkins joined Allegiant in October 2003 as director of fleet planning. Mr. Hopkins was promoted to vice president, fleet planning in 2005, vice president, fleet planning & fuel supply in 2007 and vice president, supply management in 2008. In his current position, he oversees the purchase of aircraft, parts and materials, component repairs and ground support equipment purchase and repair. Prior to joining Allegiant, Mr. Hopkins was chief financial officer of Corporate Aircraft Partners, an aircraft timeshare and charter company. From 1994 to 1996, Mr. Hopkins was manager of financial analysis at ValuJet. From 1997 to 2000, Mr. Hopkins held various positions in high tech and venture capital. He holds a master’s in business administration from Emory University and is also a former United States Marine Corp helicopter crew chief and aircraft mechanic.
Ashok Shah
Vice President, Revenue
Ashok Shah serves as the company's vice president of revenue, comprising the commercial sides of revenue management & pricing, and capacity & schedule planning. Prior to this, he held the post of vice president of financial planning and analysis. From 2003 to 2005, Mr. Shah was the director of financial planning and analysis for Mesa Air Group. In 1997, he joined American Airlines where he held various line and staff positions throughout the organization. Mr. Shah has also held positions with Greaves Travel and American National Bank. He obtained his master’s in business administration from Loyola University, Chicago.
Tyri Squyres
Vice President Marketing & Sales
Since joining Allegiant in 2004, Tyri Squyres has overseen the development of the company’s brand and marketing strategy. Promoted to vice president of marketing and sales in 2009, Ms. Squyres oversees the company’s consumer marketing, corporate communications, third party products sales and call center operations. Ms. Squyres began her career in marketing research and later went to work in the advertising and public relations field. Prior to joining Allegiant, she spent 13 years in the hotel-casino industry, including positions with Harrah’s Entertainment and the former Aladdin Hotel.
Robert P. Wilson III
Vice President, Information Systems/Technology
Robert P. Wilson III joined Allegiant Air in March 2009, after Allegiant acquired his software company RPW Consolidation Information Systems, Inc., and exclusive rights to the ICARUS Applications developed by CMS Solutions. Mr. Wilson oversees the Allegiant Information Systems applications development and the company’s information technology. Prior to Allegiant, Wilson was president of RPW Consolidation Information Systems, Inc. and senior consultant and senior software development analyst for CMS Solutions, Inc.
