July 8, 2008 ALLEGIANT AIR ANNOUNCES LOW-COST SERVICE FROM APPLETON, WISC. TO VEGAS AIRLINE TO OFFER ONE-WAY INTRODUCTORY FARES AS LOW AS $109* TO LAS VEGAS APPLETON, Wisc. – Low-cost airline, Allegiant Air, LLC, today announced it will move its flight operations to Outagamie County Regional Airport in Appleton, Wisc. from Austin Straubel International Airport in Green Bay, Wisc. The Las Vegas-based carrier will inaugurate the new, nonstop flights to Las Vegas from Appleton Aug. 21 with introductory fares as low as $109* one-way. "We are pleased to bring the Allegiant brand of low-fare, nonstop jet service to Appleton," Maurice J. Gallagher, Allegiant Air president & CEO, said. "This is an exciting new addition for our airline and our customers as we launch the only nonstop jet service between Appleton and Las Vegas." "The move to Appleton will ensure our ability to continue to provide Northeast Wisconsin and the greater Green Bay community with convenient and low-cost air service," Brian Davis, Allegiant's Director of Airport Planning, said. "We look forward to continuing to serve the community and appreciate the great efforts of the Outagamie Airport management team in making this possible." The new route will operate two times weekly between Outagamie County Regional Airport and McCarran International Airport (Las Vegas), with service Thursday and Sunday. Beginning Aug. 21, flights will depart Appleton at 3:05 p.m. arriving in Las Vegas at 4:55 p.m. Flights leaving Las Vegas will depart at 8:50 a.m. arriving in Appleton at 2:25 p.m. (all flight times are local). Like its operations in Green Bay, the carrier will utilize a full-size, 150-seat MD-80 jet aircraft on the route. "We are thrilled that Allegiant is adding Las Vegas flights from the Appleton area," said Airport Director, Marty Lenss. "We are sure it is a winning combination that travelers will love." Allegiant's $109* one-way introductory fare is limited, must be purchased by July 26, 2008 and is valid for travel through Dec. 15, 2008. Introductory fares are not available on all flights. After the introductory fare period, regular one-way fares on the route start as low as $139 one-way. Customers with existing Green Bay to Las Vegas reservations Aug. 21 and beyond will be contacted directly by Allegiant for reaccommodation out of Appleton. About the offer: *Seats are limited and may not be available on all flights. All fares one-way and are non-refundable. Fares do not include PFC, segment tax or September 11 security fee of up to $10.50 per segment. Travel purchased through Allegiant Air call centers will cost an additional $10 per segment. A checked baggage fee of $15 per bag, per person, per segment will apply for the first two bags, when purchased at the time of booking. If purchased at flight check-in, a checked baggage fee of $25 per bag, per segment, per person will apply to the first two checked bags. Additional higher fees will apply for three or more checked bags. A segment is defined as one take-off and one landing. Fare rules, routes and schedules are subject to change without notice.
