ALLEGIANT AIR ANNOUNCES LOW-COST SERVICE FROM GRAND ISLAND TO LAS VEGAS

AIRLINE TO OFFER ONE-WAY INTRODUCTORY FARES TO VEGAS FOR AS LOW AS $79* EACH WAY

Grand Island, NE – Low-cost airline, Allegiant Air, LLC, today announced it will move its flight operations to Central Nebraska Regional Airport in Grand Island, Neb. from the Lincoln Airport in Lincoln, Neb. The Las Vegas-based carrier will inaugurate the new, nonstop flights to Las Vegas from Grand Island Sept. 4 with introductory fares as low as $79* one-way.

"We are pleased to bring the Allegiant brand of low-fare, nonstop jet service to Grand Island," Maurice J. Gallagher, Allegiant Air president & CEO, said. "This is an exciting new addition for our airline and our customers as we launch the only nonstop jet service between Grand Island and Las Vegas."

The new route will operate two times weekly between Central Nebraska Regional Airport and McCarran International Airport (Las Vegas), with service Thursday and Sunday. Flights will depart Grand Island at 12:40 p.m. arriving in Las Vegas at 1:20 p.m. Flights leaving Las Vegas will depart at 7:35 a.m. arriving in Grand Island at 12 p.m. (all flight times are local). Like its operations in Lincoln, the carrier will utilize a full-size, 150-seat MD-80 jet aircraft on the route.

Through its Allegiant Vacations program, the company also offers complete air and hotel vacation packages to the city that never sleeps for as low as $266* per person for four-nights, roundtrip (based on double-occupancy, stay at the Vegas Club Hotel & Casino with a Sunday arrival and Thursday departure. Travel must be completed by Sept. 29, 2008).

Allegiant Vacations offers low-cost packages with more than 50 of Las Vegas’ most exciting hotel properties, including: Wynn Las Vegas, Bellagio, Venetian-Resort-Hotel-Casino, Paris Las Vegas, MGM Grand Hotel & Casino, Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, Caesars Palace, Palms, Red Rock Casino-Resort-Spa, Golden Nugget Las Vegas, South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa, Four Queens Hotel & Casino, Plaza Hotel and Casino and many more.

Allegiant’s $79* one-way introductory fare is limited, must be purchased by Aug. 23, 2008 and is valid for travel through Jan. 31, 2009. Introductory fares are not available on all flights. After the introductory fare period, regular one-way fares on the route start as low as $99 one-way. Customers with existing Lincoln to Las Vegas reservations Sept. 11 and beyond will be contacted directly by Allegiant for reaccommodation out of Grand Island.
