July 30, 2008 (B) ALLEGIANT AIR ANNOUNCES END OF SERVICE FROM LINCOLN TO LAS VEGAS Lincoln, NE – Allegiant Air, LLC announced today it will end its scheduled service between Lincoln, Neb. and Las Vegas, Nev. Customers with reservations Sept. 4 and beyond will be contacted directly by Allegiant with the option of reaccommodation from the Central Nebraska Regional Airport in Grand Island, Neb. or a full refund. "Due to high fuel costs and competitive influences, we will discontinue our air service to Lincoln," Maurice J. Gallagher, Allegiant Air president and CEO, said. "We greatly appreciate the tremendous support that John Wood, his management team and the entire Lincoln community has shown us." Allegiant Air began service to McCarran International Airport (Las Vegas) from the Lincoln Municipal Airport Feb. 1, 2006.
