ALLEGIANT AIR TO OFFER YEAR-ROUND SERVICE TO ORLANDO

Airline Celebrates With $79* One-Way Fares

MCALLEN, Texas – The Rio Grande Valley asked for year-round low-cost, nonstop flights to Orlando, Fla. and Allegiant Air, LLC, has responded. The low-fare carrier will celebrate the expansion of service to the Sunshine State with introductory fares as low as $79* each way.

“By offering Allegiant’s unique brand of low-cost, nonstop jet service to Orlando year-round, the Rio Grande Valley will have more opportunities to enjoy the family fun of Florida,” said Maurice J. Gallagher, the airline’s president and CEO. “This is an exciting announcement for our airline and our customers as we offer the only nonstop, low-fare air service between McAllen and Orlando.”

Beginning Nov. 20, 2008, flights will be available year-round to Orlando on Thursday and Sunday. Flights will depart McAllen-Miller International Airport at 11:20 a.m. arriving at Orlando Sanford International Airport at 3 p.m. Flights leaving Orlando will depart at 9 a.m. arriving in McAllen at 10:40 a.m. (all flight times are local). Allegiant Air inaugurated its convenient low-cost, nonstop seasonal service from McAllen to Orlando June 7, 2006 and flights to Las Vegas began June 24, 2005.

“We are excited that Allegiant Air has decided to implement a year round Orlando flight. This gives the residents of the Rio Grande Valley another year round travel destination option at affordable prices,” Phillip K. Brown, Airport Director for McAllen Miller International Airport said.

“The City of McAllen is rapidly developing into a modern American city on the border, and we benefit by having Allegiant Air service to Las Vegas and Orlando,” said Mayor Richard Cortez, City of McAllen.

Located midway between Orlando’s world-class attractions and the world’s most famous beach - Daytona Beach, Orlando Sanford International Airport offers visitors the “best of both worlds.” Both destinations are only minutes away, ideally situated for those hoping to take a break from the cold at the beach or to experience the fun of Disney World, Universal Studios, SeaWorld and the rest of the excitement Florida has to offer.

The Allegiant Vacations division of the company will offer low-cost packages with 58 of Orlando and Daytona Beach’s most exciting hotel properties. Partner properties include The Swan, The Dolphin, The Hilton in Lake Buena Vista and the Radisson Parkway. Low-cost packages are available to include hotel, car and amusement park tickets for additional savings.
