ALLEGIANT AIR ANNOUNCES NEW NONSTOP SERVICE TO TENNESSE AND SOUTH CAROLINA

LOW-COST AIRLINE CELEBRATES WITH FARES FOR ONLY $59* ONE-WAY

PUNTA GORDA, FL – Low-cost airline, Allegiant Air, LLC, a subsidiary of Allegiant Travel Company (Nasdaq: ALGT) today announced it will begin low-fare, nonstop jet service from the Southwest Florida Coast out of the Charlotte County Airport to Greenville/Spartanburg, S.C. beginning March 5, 2009 and to Knoxville, Tenn. beginning March 6, 2009. The airline will celebrate the convenient new service with introductory fares as low as $59* each way to Greenville/Spartanburg and $69* each way to Knoxville.

The new flights to Greenville/Spartanburg will operate twice weekly, with service Thursday and Sunday. Flights will depart Charlotte County Airport at 4:25 p.m. arriving in Greenville/Spartanburg International Airport at 6:05 p.m. Flights leaving Greenville/Spartanburg will depart at 2:05 p.m. arriving at Charlotte County Airport at 3:45 p.m. (all flight times are local.) Allegiant will utilize 150-seat, MD-80 series, jet-aircraft on the route.

The new flights to Knoxville will operate twice weekly, with service Monday and Friday. Flights will depart Charlotte County Airport at 7 p.m. arriving in McGhee Tyson Airport at 8:50 p.m. Flights leaving Knoxville will depart at 4:30 p.m. arriving at Charlotte County Airport at 6:20 p.m. (all flight times are local.) Allegiant will utilize 150-seat, MD-80 series, jet-aircraft on the route.

The company commented that market research and input from local community leaders indicate the Southwest Florida Coast area and the Knoxville and Greenville/Spartanburg markets will all welcome the value and convenience of flying nonstop to/from Charlotte County Airport as an alternative to long drives and connecting flights through congested airports.

Allegiant’s $59* one-way introductory fare to/from Greenville/Spartanburg and the $69* one-way fares to/from Knoxville are limited, not available on all flights and must be purchased by Dec. 24, 2008 for complete travel by April 30, 2009. After the introductory fare period, regular one-way fares to Greenville/Spartanburg start as low as $79 one-way. After the introductory fare period, regular one-way fares to Knoxville start as low as $89 one-way.
