AIRLINE CELEBRATES WITH LIMITED ONE-DAY $29* FARES!

GREER, S.C. – Upstate residents head to the sun and white sand beaches of Florida as Allegiant Air inaugurates the only low-cost, nonstop service to the Southwest Florida Coast from Greenville-Spartanburg, S.C. To celebrate, the airline is offering a special low one-day $29* one-way fare to Charlotte County Airport, located midway between Sarasota and Fort Myers, Fla.

Until midnight March 5, the airline will offer $29* one-way fares on flights to/from Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport to/from Charlotte County Airport. The sale begins at 5 a.m. EST and ends at 11:59 p.m. EST on March 5. To book visit www.allegiantair.com and use promo code FLYNOW. After the $29* one-way fares, one-way fares to Charlotte County Airport will be on sale through March 18 with fares as low as $39**.

"We are extremely pleased to again expand the Allegiant brand of low-fare, nonstop, jet service to Upstate residents," Maurice J. Gallagher Jr., Allegiant Air president & CEO, said. "This is an exciting new addition for our airline and our customers as we launch the only scheduled nonstop service between Greenville-Spartanburg and the Southwest Florida Coast."

The new service operates twice weekly, with service Thursday and Sunday. Flights depart Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport at 2:05 p.m. arriving in Charlotte County Airport at 3:45 p.m. Flights leaving Charlotte County Airport depart at 4:25 p.m. arriving in Greenville-Spartanburg at 6:05 p.m. (all flight times are local.) Allegiant Air began low-cost, nonstop service from Greenville-Spartanburg with flights to Orlando, Fla. Nov. 14, 2006. Flights to the Tampa Bay area began Feb. 13, 2007 and service to Fort Lauderdale, Fla. began Nov. 15, 2007.

The airline commented market research and input from local community leaders indicate the Greenville-Spartanburg communities welcome the new nonstop flights and low fares to the Southwest Florida Coast as an alternative to connecting flights and long drives to other airports. Allegiant will utilize 150-seat, MD-80 series, jet-aircraft on the route.

Catering perfectly to a personal, romantic or family getaway, the Southwest Florida Coast destination features exquisite beach-front dining, exotic wildlife and a wide variety of recreation in the warm, pristine waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Charlotte County Airport is centrally located midway between the white-sand beaches of Fort Myers shore and Sarasota's tropical island communities. Fort Myers is world famous for its shelling, fishing and natural preservation and Sarasota for its islands and street-market styled downtown, saturated with arts and culture. Known for its variety of beautiful settings, Charlotte Harbor has been recognized by Sail Magazine as one of the "10 Greatest Places to sail in the United States," Golf Digest as the "Third Best Place to Live and Play Golf in America" and Money Magazine as the "Best Places to Live in the South."

The Allegiant Vacations division of the company offers low-cost packages with five of the Southwest Florida Coast's most exciting hotel properties. Partner properties include Hyatt Regency Coconut, Hyatt Regency Sarasota, Marco Beach Ocean, Naples Beach Hotel and Pink Shell Beach.
