NORTHWEST ARKANSAS HITS THE JACKPOT!

ALLEGIANT AIR ANNOUNCES MORE LOW-COST AIR SERVICE FOR NORTHWEST ARKANSAS WITH NONSTOP FLIGHTS TO LAS VEGAS: AIRLINE CELEBRATES WITH INTRODUCTORY $79* FARES

BENTONVILLE, Ark. – Northwest Arkansas residents will soon have a chance to try their luck in fabulous Las Vegas as low-cost airline, Allegiant Air, today announces new, nonstop jet service to Las Vegas from Northwest Arkansas beginning June 4. Allegiant is celebrating by offering fares as low as $79* one-way to the "Capital City of Entertainment." This announcement comes just weeks after the carrier announced new nonstop, low-cost flights to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) beginning May 22.

"We're pleased to expand Allegiant's unique brand of affordable and convenient, all-jet service in the Northwest Arkansas community," Maurice J. Gallagher, Allegiant Air president and CEO, said. "This is an exciting new addition for our airline and our customers as we launch the only nonstop service between Northwest Arkansas and Las Vegas."

The new flights will operate two times weekly between Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport and McCarran International Airport (Las Vegas), with service Thursday and Sunday. Beginning June 4, flights will depart Northwest Arkansas at 8:45 p.m. arriving in Las Vegas at 9:50 p.m. Flights leaving Las Vegas will depart at 3:15 p.m. arriving in Northwest Arkansas at 8:05 p.m. (all flight times are local).

"It was less than two weeks ago that we celebrated the addition of Allegiant Air as XNA's first low-cost air carrier," Philip Taldo, vice chairman of the Airport Authority Board of Directors, said. "We are thrilled the airline has decided to expand their service so quickly by adding Las Vegas. The Airport Board of Directors has focused for some time on the importance of attracting a low-cost carrier to our region, and I am confident our passengers will enjoy the benefits of adding yet another direct destination."

The carrier will utilize a full-size, 150-seat MD-80 jet aircraft on the route. The airline said its market research and input from local community leaders indicate Northwest Arkansas residents will welcome the new nonstop flights and low fares to Las Vegas as an affordable and convenient alternative to connecting flights or long drives to other airports.

Through its Allegiant Vacations program, the company also offers complete air and hotel vacation packages to the city that never sleeps for as low as $214* per person for four-nights, roundtrip (based on double-occupancy, stay at the Stratosphere Resort Hotel with a Sunday arrival and Thursday departure).

Customers will enjoy even greater savings through the company's Allegiant Vacations division which offers low-cost packages with more than 50 of Las Vegas' most exciting hotel properties, including: Wynn Las Vegas, Bellagio, Venetian-Resort-Hotel-Casino, Paris Las Vegas, MGM Grand Hotel & Casino, Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, Caesars Palace, Red Rock Casino-Resort-Spa, Golden Nugget Las Vegas, South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa, Four Queens Hotel & Casino, Plaza Hotel and Casino and many more.
