GET AWAY TO THE CITY BY THE BAY!

ALLEGIANT AIR ANNOUNCES NEW, NONSTOP AIR SERVICE BETWEEN THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA AND EUGENE; AIRLINE CELEBRATES WITH INTRODUCTORY $39* ONE-WAY FARE

EUGENE, Ore. – Low-cost airline Allegiant Air, LLC, today announces new, nonstop jet service to the San Francisco Bay area from Eugene Airport beginning June 8. To celebrate, the carrier will offer introductory fares to the bay area for as low as $39* each way.

"We are extremely pleased to again expand the Allegiant brand of low-fare, nonstop jet service in the Western Oregon community," Maurice J. Gallagher, Jr., president, CEO of Allegiant Air said. "This is an exciting new addition for our airline and our customers as we launch the only low-cost service between Eugene and the San Francisco Bay area."

The new flights to the bay area will operate two times weekly between Oakland International Airport and Eugene Airport, with service Monday and Friday. Flights leaving Eugene will depart at 1:30 p.m. arriving in Oakland at 2:55 p.m. Flights will depart Oakland at 11:25 a.m. arriving in Eugene at 12:50 p.m. (all flight times are local.) Allegiant also offers low-cost, nonstop service to two other vacation destinations from Eugene, Las Vegas and Phoenix-Mesa.

"Allegiant Air continues to be a great partner to the Eugene Airport," airport director, Tim Doll, A.A.E., said. "With this latest addition in service to Oakland, passengers will have even more options when traveling to the bay area."

The airline commented market research and input from local community leaders indicate the Eugene community will welcome the new service to the bay area as a low-price option and an alternative to long drives to other airports. Allegiant will utilize 150-seat, MD-80 series, jet-aircraft on the route.
