ALLEGIANT AIR ANNOUNCES NEW NONSTOP SERVICE BETWEEN MISSOULA, MONT. AND LAS VEGAS: ALLEGIANT CELEBRATES WITH INTRODUCTORY $39 FARE (Missoula, Mont. Feb. 4, 2005) — No such thing as a sure bet? Odds are that low-fare, nonstop jet service to Las Vegas, Nev. will win big in Missoula, Mont. with Allegiant Air, LLC. The Las Vegas-based, low-fare airline today announced that the company will inaugurate nonstop scheduled service from the Missoula International Airport to McCarran International Airport (Las Vegas) beginning March 31, 2005. To kick off the new service, Allegiant is offering introductory fares as low as $39* one-way on flights from Missoula to Las Vegas. “We are extremely pleased to extend the Allegiant brand of low-fare, nonstop jet service to the people of Missoula and surrounding communities,” Maurice J. Gallagher, Allegiant Air president & CEO, said. “This is an exciting new addition for our airline and our customers as we launch the only scheduled nonstop service between Missoula and Las Vegas.” The new flights will operate twice weekly, with service Thursday and Sunday. The carrier will utilize a full-size 150-seat MD-80 jet aircraft on the route. The airline said that its market research and input from local community leaders indicate that the Missoula area will welcome the new nonstop flights and low fares to Las Vegas as an alternative to connecting flights or long drives to other airports. “Las Vegas is an exciting and popular destination for Missoula and represents one of our top five markets,” Joe Easton, Interim Airport Director for Missoula International Airport, said. “This new service will greatly enhance our already successful offering. I look forward to utilizing this new service myself.” Allegiant also offers complete air and hotel vacation packages to Las Vegas starting at $196* per person for four-nights, round-trip (based on double-occupancy and Sunday through Thursday travel), through its Allegiant Vacations program.
