SPRINGFIELD DOUBLES DOWN ON LAS VEGAS AS ALLEGIANT AIR INCREASES FLIGHTS FROM THE QUEEN CITY TO SIN CITY WITH INTRODUCTORY $79* FARE

(Las Vegas, Nev.)– In response to the strong demands of the Springfield, Mo. market, low-cost Allegiant Air, LLC, today announced that it will double the number of nonstop flights to Las Vegas each week even before inaugurating service. To kick off the new four-day-a-week service, Allegiant will offer a limited time $79* one-way fare. The new service begins April 21 and the enhanced schedule will begin June 17.
“Springfield’s response to our brand of low-fare, nonstop, all-jet service has exceeded our expectations Maurice J. Gallagher, Allegiant Air president & CEO, said. “We are pleased to announce the addition of two more weekly flights that will help twice as many customers in the Queen City get to the fun and excitement of Las Vegas. We are confident that this new schedule will have great appeal.”
The service departs Springfield-Branson Regional Airport at 8:35 p.m. arriving in Las Vegas at 9:40 p.m. Flights leaving Las Vegas will depart at 3:10 p.m. arriving in Springfield at 7:55 p.m. (all flight times are local). New service was announced Feb. 17.

Allegiant’s $79* one-way introductory fare must be purchased by April 30, 2005 and is valid for travel June 17 through Sept. 30, 2005. To take advantage of this expanded service, reservations can be made on the airline’s website at www.allegiantair.com, through the airline’s Reservations and Information Center at 800-432-3810 or through professional travel agents.

*All fares are based on round-trip travel and are non-refundable. No advance purchase is required. Fares do not include PFC, segment tax or September 11 security fee of up to $10.20 per segment. Travel purchased at an Allegiant Air ticket counter or through Allegiant Air call centers will cost an additional $4.00 per segment. Seats are limited and fares may not be available on all flights. Fare rules, routes and schedules are subject to

The carrier will utilize a full-size, 150-seat MD-80 jet aircraft on the route. The airline said that its market research and input from local community leaders indicate that the Springfield area will welcome the new nonstop flights and low fares to Las Vegas as an alternative to connecting flights or long drives to other airports.

Allegiant Air also features complete air and hotel vacation packages through the company’s vacation division, Allegiant Vacations.
