BISMARCK AND ALLEGIANT AIR, WHAT A PAIR! ALLEGIANT CELEBRATES FIRST YEAR OF SUCCESS IN BISMARCK, N.D. WITH $39/$59 FARES (Bismarck, N.D.) —What happens in Vegas, may stay in Vegas, but over the last year it seems to be starting in Bismarck, N.D. as Allegiant Air, LLC, marks the one-year anniversary of nonstop, jet-service from Bismarck to Sin City. To celebrate the anniversary, Allegiant Air is offering fares as low as $39*/$59* one-way, when booked at www.allegiantair.com (return fare regular price.) The Las Vegas-based, low-fare airline inaugurated service from the Bismarck Municipal Airport to McCarran International Airport (Las Vegas) May 7, 2004. “We are pleased with the positive response the Bismarck market has shown us over the last year,” Maurice J. Gallagher, the airline’s president and CEO, said. “We look forward to a continued successful relationship between Allegiant, Bismarck Municipal Airport, the local communities, travel agents and all of our valued customers.” Allegiant Air will complete its first year of service achieving several milestones. More than 29,000 seats have been sold (approximately 14,500 passengers) and monthly load factors ran an average of 80 percent. Since starting service, the number of passengers flying to Vegas from Bismarck has nearly tripled and at fares 37 percent less in price compared to fares the year prior to Allegiant entering the market. “Allegiant’s low fares have been very popular with area travelers,” Greg Haug, Airport Director for the Bismarck Municipal Airport. “Air travel promotions are always welcomed news to customers using the Bismarck Airport” Allegiant currently maintains scheduled service two days weekly—Monday and Friday. Flights depart Bismarck at 12:15 p.m. and arrive in Las Vegas at 1:05 p.m. Returning from Las Vegas, the flight departs Vegas at 7:00 a.m. and arrives in Bismarck at 11:30 a.m. (all flight times are local). The carrier utilizes full-size, 150-seat, MD-80 jet aircraft on the route. Through its Allegiant Vacations program, the company also offers low-cost vacation packages with 27 of Las Vegas’ most exciting hotel properties, including the Bellagio, Venetian, Paris, MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, Monte Carlo, Mirage, Golden Nugget, Excalibur, Tropicana, Bally’s, Flamingo, Four Queens, Riviera, Frontier, Luxor, Circus Circus, Imperial Palace, Hotel San Remo, Gold Coast, Boardwalk, Westin Casuarina, Stardust, Orleans and Plaza. To take advantage of the limited-time $39/59* fare, reservations must be made by May 7, 2005. The $39* fare is available for travel through May 30, 2005. A $59* fare is available for travel through Sept. 30, 2005. Reservations can be made on the airline’s website at www.allegiantair.com, through the airline’s Reservations and Information Center at 800-432-3810 or through professional travel agents. *This fare is available on inbound flights to Las Vegas only. Return fares are regular price. Previously purchased tickets may not be exchanged for this fare. Fares are one-way, based on round-trip travel and are completely non-refundable. Fares do not include PFC, segment tax or September 11 security fee of up to $10.20 per segment. Travel purchased at an Allegiant Air ticket counter or through Allegiant Air call centers will cost an additional $4 per segment. Seats are limited and fares may not be available on all flights.
