VIVA LAS VEGAS! (Las Vegas, Nev.)– In response to the strong
demands of the McAllen market, low-cost Allegiant Air,
LLC, today announced that it will double the number
of nonstop flights to Las Vegas each week even before
inaugurating service. To kick off the new four-day-a-week
service, Allegiant will offer a limited time $79* one-way
fare when booked at www.allegiantair.com. The new service
begins June 24 and the expanded schedule will begin
July 21. “Allegiant’s foresight and Rio Grande Valley support has proven to be a winning combination,” Derald Lary, Airport Director for McAllen-Miller International Airport. “The McAllen International Airport is ready for other Allegiant destinations.” Allegiant’s $79* one-way introductory fare is limited and must be purchased by June10, 2005. The offer is valid for travel Aug. 1 through Sept. 30, 2005. To take advantage of this expanded service, reservations can be made on the airline’s website at www.allegiantair.com, through the airline’s Reservations and Information Center at 800-432-3810 or through professional travel agents. *All fares are based on round-trip travel and are non-refundable.
Fares do not include PFC, segment tax or September 11
security fee of up to $10.20 per segment. Travel purchased
at an Allegiant Air ticket counter or through Allegiant
Air call centers will cost an additional $4.00 per segment.
Seats are limited and fares may not be available on
all flights. The carrier will utilize a full-size, 150-seat MD-80 jet aircraft on the route. In addition to the company’s market research and input from local community leaders, community response indicates that the Rio Grande Valley will welcome the new nonstop flights and low fares to Las Vegas as an alternative to connecting flights or long drives to other airports. Allegiant Air also features complete air and hotel vacation packages through the company’s vacation division, Allegiant Vacations. Packages are available with 29 of Las Vegas’ most exciting hotel properties, including the Bellagio, Venetian, Paris, MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, Monte Carlo, Mirage, Golden Nugget, Excalibur, Tropicana, Bally’s,erin Flamingo, Four Queens, Riviera, Frontier, Luxor, Circus Circus, Imperial Palace, Hotel San Remo, Gold Coast, Boardwalk, Westin Casuarina, Stardust, Orleans and Plaza.
