VIVA LAS VEGAS! ALLEGIANT AIR ANNOUNCES NEW, NONSTOP AIR SERVICE BETWEEN WICHITA FALLS, TEX. AND LAS VEGAS: AIRLINE CELEBRATES WITH INTRODUCTORY $59* FARE (WICHITA FALLS, TEX.) — What happens in Vegas, may stay in Vegas, but it will soon start in Wichita Falls, Tex. as Allegiant Air, LLC, today announces new and nonstop jet-service to Las Vegas that will begin Sept. 16, 2005. To kick off the new service, the Las Vegas-based, low-fare airline is offering limited introductory fares as low as $59* one-way, when booked at www.allegiantair.com. “We are extremely pleased to extend the Allegiant brand of low-fare, nonstop jet service to the Wichita Falls community,” Maurice J. Gallagher, Allegiant Air president & CEO, said. “This is an exciting new addition for our airline and our customers as we launch the only scheduled nonstop service between Wichita Falls and Las Vegas.” The new flights will operate twice weekly between Wichita Falls Municipal Airport and McCarran International Airport (Las Vegas), with service Monday and Friday. Beginning Sept. 16, flights will depart Wichita Falls at 8:15 p.m. arriving in Las Vegas at 8:55 p.m. Flights leaving Las Vegas will depart at 3:10 P.M. arriving in Wichita Falls at 7:35 p.m. (all flight times are local). “On behalf of the city, we are thrilled to have Allegiant come to Wichita Falls,” Darron Leiker, City Manager for Wichita Falls, said. “We look forward to better utilizing the airport facilities with this new service. It will be a nice recreational offering for our community.” The carrier will utilize a full-size, 150-seat MD-80 jet aircraft on the route. The airline said that its market research and input from local community leaders indicate that the Wichita Falls area will welcome the new nonstop flights and low fares to Las Vegas as an alternative to connecting flights or long drives to other airports. Allegiant also offers complete air and hotel vacation packages to Las Vegas for as low as $222* per person for four-nights, round-trip (based on double-occupancy, stay at the Four Queens Hotel & Casino and Monday departure and Friday return), through its Allegiant Vacations program. Allegiant Vacations offers low-cost packages with 30 of Las Vegas’ most exciting hotel properties, including the Wynn, Bellagio, Venetian, Paris, MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, Caesars, Monte Carlo, Mirage, Golden Nugget, Excalibur, Tropicana, Bally’s, Flamingo, Four Queens, Riviera, Frontier, Luxor, Circus Circus, Imperial Palace, Hotel San Remo, Gold Coast, Boardwalk, Westin Casuarina, Aladdin, Stardust, Orleans and Plaza. Allegiant’s $59* one-way introductory fare is very limited, must be purchased by Aug. 19, 2005 and is valid for travel Sept. 16, 2005 through Jan. 31, 2006. Introductory fares are not available on all flights and are not available on these blackout dates: Nov. 25 and 28; Dec. 2, 9, 12 and 23-31; and Jan. 1-5, 2006. After the introductory fare period, regular one-way fares on the route will range from $89-$199 one-way. *All fares one-way and are non-refundable. Fares do not include PFC, segment tax or September 11 security fee of up to $10.20 per segment. Travel purchased at an Allegiant Air ticket counter or through Allegiant Air call centers will cost an additional $4.00 per segment. A segment is defined as one take-off and one landing.
