ALLEGIANT AIR ANNOUNCES NEW NONSTOP AIR SERVICE TO ORLANDO: SOUTH BEND TO ORLANDO FOR JUST $59*

(South Bend, Ind.)— Michiana, get your flip-flops and sunglasses ready! Allegiant Air, LLC today announces new, nonstop jet service to the fun and sun of Orlando, Fla. from South Bend, Ind. beginning Nov. 16. The same airline that recently brought South Bend low-fare, nonstop service to Las Vegas, will now offer low-cost, nonstop service to Orlando, with introductory fares as low as $59* each way, when booked at www.allegiantair.com.

The self-proclaimed “Official Airline for Sunshine” will launch the new scheduled service from South Bend to Orlando Sanford International Airport with complete vacation packages including air and hotel stay at the Rodeway Maingate starting as low as $178** for three nights, per person based on double occupancy. (Package price reflects a Wednesday departure and Saturday return and may not be available on every flight.) This price even includes a complimentary breakfast.

“We are extremely pleased to expand the Allegiant brand of low-fare, nonstop, jet service to Orlando,” Maurice J. Gallagher, Allegiant Air president & CEO, said. “This is an exciting new addition for our airline and our customers as we launch the only scheduled nonstop service between the Michiana community and the Sunshine State.”

The new flights will operate twice weekly, with service Wednesday and Saturday. Flights will depart South Bend at 1 p.m. arriving in Orlando at 3:30 p.m. Flights leaving Orlando will depart at 9:55 a.m. arriving in South Bend at 12:25 p.m. (all flight times are local.) Allegiant will utilize 130-seat, MD-87 jet aircraft on the route.

“We are very proud of the support the Michiana community has shown for Allegiant’s brand of low fares and nonstop convenience,” John Schalliol, South Bend Regional Airport director, said. “Based on the success of Allegiant’s service to Las Vegas, we expect the same for new service to Orlando. Their level of service, their people and aircraft, and their fares will ensure success in our community. We are thrilled to have them as members of our team at South Bend Regional.

The airline launched service from South Bend to Las Vegas Aug. 5. The company said that its strong demand from current customers and input from local community leaders indicates that the Michiana area will welcome the new nonstop flights and low fares to Orlando as an alternative to connecting flights or long drives to other airports.

The Allegiant Vacations division of the company will offer low-cost packages with 18 of Orlando’s most exciting hotel properties and three in Daytona Beach. Partner properties include The Swan, The Dolphin, The Hilton in Lake Buena Vista and the Radisson Parkway. Low-cost packages are available to include hotel, car and amusement park tickets for additional savings.

Reservations may be made through the company’s website at www.allegiantair.com, the airline’s Reservations Center at 800-432-3810 or professional travel agents.

Allegiant’s $59* one-way introductory fare is limited, not available on all flights and must be purchased by Sept. 7, 2005, for travel through Jan. 31, 2006. Fares are not available on the following blackout dates: Nov. 19-26, Dec. 21-31 and Jan. 1-7, 2006.
