ALLEGIANT AIR ANNOUNCES NEW NONSTOP AIR SERVICE FROM STEWART INTERNATIONAL FOR JUST $39*

(New Windsor, N.Y.)— Hudson Valley, get your flip-flops and sunglasses ready! Low-cost airline Allegiant Air, LLC today announces new, nonstop jet service to the fun and sun of Orlando, Fla. from the Stewart International Airport, N.Y. beginning Oct. 27. The low-fare carrier will celebrate the convenient new service to the Sunshine State, with introductory fares as low as $39* each way, when booked at www.allegiantair.com.

“We are extremely pleased to extend the Allegiant brand of low-fare, nonstop jet service to the Hudson Valley community,” Maurice J. Gallagher, Allegiant Air president & CEO, said. “This is an exciting new addition for our airline and our customers as we launch the only scheduled nonstop service between Stewart International Airport and Orlando.”

The new flights will operate four times weekly, with service Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday. Flights will depart Stewart International Airport at 11:50 a.m. arriving in Orlando at 2:30 p.m. Flights leaving Orlando will depart at 8:30 a.m. arriving at Stewart at 11:15 a.m. (all flight times are local.) Allegiant will utilize 130-seat, MD-87 jet aircraft on the route.

The self-proclaimed “Official Airline for Sunshine” will launch the new scheduled service with complete vacation packages including air and hotel stay at the Rodeway Inn-Maingate starting as low as $138** for three nights, per person based on double occupancy. (Package price reflects a Thursday departure and Sunday return and may not be available on every flight.) This price even includes a complimentary breakfast.

Senator Schumer said. “This is great news for Stewart and the entire Hudson Valley. Stewart’s record passenger growth makes it a perfect place for new service and this new growth will go a long way toward making Stewart a stronger regional international airport. I have always believed that low cost air service not only makes air travel more affordable for local passengers and businesses, but low fares translate into economic growth and could mean a huge boost for the region.” Tanya Vanasse, General Manager of Marketing at Stewart had this to say. “Allegiant is a quality airline with a strong management team and a successful business plan. They focus on leisure travel and offer not only low cost airfares but low cost travel packages. The Hudson Valley now has an excellent new choice for leisure travel and Stewart has a first class partner in the aviation industry.”

The airline said that its market research and input from local community leaders indicate that the Hudson Valley area will welcome the new nonstop flights and low fares to Orlando as an alternative to connecting flights or long drives to other airports.

The Allegiant Vacations division of the company will offer low-cost packages with 18 of Orlando’s most exciting hotel properties and three in Daytona Beach. Partner properties include The Swan, The Dolphin, The Hilton in Lake Buena Vista and the Radisson Parkway. Low-cost packages are available to include hotel, car and amusement park tickets for additional savings.

Reservations may be made through the company’s website at www.allegiantair.com, the airline’s Reservations Center at 800-432-3810 or professional travel agents.
