VIVA LAS VEGAS! ALLEGIANT AIR ANNOUNCES NEW, NONSTOP AIR SERVICE BETWEEN IDAHO FALLS, IDAHO AND LAS VEGAS: AIRLINE CELEBRATES WITH INTRODUCTORY $49* FARE (Idaho Falls, Idaho) — What happens in Vegas, may stay in Vegas, but it will soon start in Idaho Falls, Idaho as Allegiant Air, LLC, today announces new and nonstop jet-service to Las Vegas beginning Nov. 11, 2005. To kick off the new service, the Las Vegas-based, low-fare airline is offering limited introductory fares as low as $49* one-way, when booked at www.allegiantair.com. “We are extremely pleased to extend the Allegiant brand of low-fare, nonstop jet service to the Idaho Falls community,” Maurice J. Gallagher, Allegiant Air president & CEO, said. “This is an exciting new addition for our airline and our customers as we launch the only scheduled nonstop service between Idaho Falls and Las Vegas.” The new flights will operate twice weekly between Idaho Falls Regional Airport and McCarran International Airport (Las Vegas), with service Monday and Friday. Beginning Nov. 11, flights will depart Idaho Falls at 6:50 p.m. arriving in Las Vegas at 7:35 p.m. Flights leaving Las Vegas will depart at 3:25 p.m. arriving in Idaho Falls at 6:10 p.m. (all flight times are local). “The City of Idaho Falls is excited about our new service with Allegiant Air and the opportunity to provide direct service to Las Vegas,” Idaho Falls Mayor Linda Milam said. “This service will be used for work, conferences, meetings and fun. We welcome Allegiant Air to the family of airlines at Idaho Falls Regional Airport.” The carrier will utilize a full-size, 150-seat MD-80 jet aircraft on the route. The airline said that its market research and input from local community leaders indicate that the Idaho Falls area will welcome the new nonstop flights and low fares to Las Vegas as an alternative to connecting flights or long drives to other airports. Allegiant also offers complete air and hotel vacation packages to Las Vegas for as low as $234 per person for four-nights, round-trip (based on double-occupancy, stay at the Four Queens Hotel & Casino and Monday departure and Friday return by Dec. 27), through its Allegiant Vacations program. Allegiant Vacations offers low-cost packages with 30 of Las Vegas’ most exciting hotel properties, including the Wynn, Bellagio, Venetian, Paris, MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, Caesars, Monte Carlo, Mirage, Golden Nugget, Excalibur, Tropicana, Bally’s, Flamingo, Four Queens, Riviera, Frontier, Luxor, Circus Circus, Imperial Palace, Hotel San Remo, Gold Coast, Boardwalk, Westin Casuarina, Aladdin, Stardust, Orleans and Plaza. Allegiant’s $49* one-way introductory fare is very limited, must be purchased by Sept. 28, 2005 and is valid for travel Nov. 11, 2005 through Jan. 31, 2006. Introductory fares are not available on all flights and are not available on these blackout dates: Nov. 25-28, Dec. 22-31, 2005 and Jan. 1-4, 2006. After the introductory fare period, regular one-way fares on the route will range from $79-$179 one-way. *All fares one-way and are non-refundable. Fares do not include PFC, segment tax or September 11 security fee of up to $10.20 per segment. Travel purchased at an Allegiant Air ticket counter or through Allegiant Air call centers will cost an additional $5.00 per segment. A segment is defined as one take-off and one landing.
