VIVA LAS VEGAS!
ALLEGIANT AIR ANNOUNCES NEW, NONSTOP AIR SERVICE BETWEEN DULUTH, MINN. AND LAS VEGAS: AIRLINE CELEBRATES WITH INTRODUCTORY $69* FARE

(Duluth, Minn.) — What happens in Vegas, may stay in Vegas, but it will soon start in Duluth, Minn. as Allegiant Air, LLC, today announces new and nonstop jet-service to Las Vegas beginning Jan. 11, 2006. To kick off the new service, the Las Vegas-based, low-fare airline is offering limited introductory fares as low as $69* one-way, when booked at www.allegiantair.com.

“We are extremely pleased to extend the Allegiant brand of low-fare, nonstop jet service to the Duluth community,” Maurice J. Gallagher, Allegiant Air president & CEO, said. “This is an exciting new addition for our airline and our customers as we launch the only scheduled nonstop service between Duluth and Las Vegas.”

The new flights will operate twice weekly between Duluth International Airport and McCarran International Airport (Las Vegas), with service Wednesday and Saturday. Beginning Jan. 11, flights will depart Duluth at 1:10 p.m. arriving in Las Vegas at 2:35 p.m. Flights leaving Las Vegas will depart at 7:20 a.m. arriving in Duluth at 12:30 p.m. (all flight times are local).

“The Duluth Superior market is delighted that Allegiant Air has chosen Duluth for non-stop service to Las Vegas,” Brian Ryks, Executive Director, Duluth Airport Authority, said.  “Our region will welcome the low-cost fares as Las Vegas is consistently a top destination for travelers in northeastern Minnesota and northwestern Wisconsin.  Allegiant’s new service will enhance our ability to meet the needs of the region’s travelers and allow them to consistently Fly Duluth.”

The carrier will utilize a full-size, 150-seat MD-80 jet aircraft on the route. The airline said that its market research and input from local community leaders indicate that the northeastern Minnesota and northwestern Wisconsin communities will welcome the new nonstop flights and low fares to Las Vegas as an alternative to connecting flights or long drives to other airports.

Allegiant also offers complete air and hotel vacation packages to Las Vegas for as low as $294* per person for three-nights, round-trip (based on double-occupancy, stay at the Circus Circus Hotel & Casino and Wednesday departure and Saturday return by Feb. 15, 2006 if purchased by Nov. 26), through its Allegiant Vacations program. Allegiant Vacations offers low-cost packages with more than 30 of Las Vegas’ most exciting hotel properties, including the Wynn, Bellagio, Venetian, Paris, MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, Caesars, Monte Carlo, Mirage, Golden Nugget, Excalibur, Tropicana, Bally’s, Flamingo, Four Queens, Riviera, Frontier, Luxor, Circus Circus, Imperial Palace, Hotel San Remo, Gold Coast, Boardwalk, Westin Casuarina, Aladdin, Stardust, Orleans and Plaza.
