ALLEGIANT AIR ANNOUNCES NEW, NONSTOP AIR SERVICE BETWEEN SHREVEPORT, LA AND LAS VEGAS: AIRLINE CELEBRATES WITH INTRODUCTORY $79* FARE

(Shreveport, LA.) — What happens in Vegas, may stay in Vegas, but it will soon start in Shreveport, LA as Allegiant Air, LLC, today announces new and nonstop jet-service to Las Vegas beginning Jan. 18, 2006. To kick off the new service, the Las Vegas-based, low-fare airline is offering limited introductory fares as low as $79* one-way, when booked at www.allegiantair.com.

“We are extremely pleased to extend the Allegiant brand of low-fare, nonstop jet service to the Shreveport-Bossier community,” Maurice J. Gallagher, Allegiant Air president & CEO, said. “This is an exciting new addition for our airline and our customers as we launch the only scheduled nonstop service between Shreveport and Las Vegas.”

The new flights will operate twice weekly between Shreveport and McCarran International Airport (Las Vegas), with service Wednesday and Saturday. Beginning Jan. 18, flights will depart Shreveport at 7:15 p.m. arriving in Las Vegas at 8:25 p.m. Flights leaving Las Vegas will depart at 1:45 p.m. arriving in Shreveport at 6:35 p.m. (all flight times are local).

"Allegiant Air is a new type of service to Northwest Louisiana," said Shreveport Mayor Keith Hightower. "With their new Las Vegas service, customers will be able to take a jet non-stop to their destination, and competitive fares will make a weekend trip very affordable. We are pleased to have the opportunity to offer local travelers another option for flying."

The carrier will utilize a full-size, 150-seat MD-80 jet aircraft on the route. The airline said that its market research and input from local community leaders indicate that the Northwest Lousianna and East Texas communities will welcome the new nonstop flights and low fares to Las Vegas as an alternative to connecting flights or long drives to other airports.

“I am elated that we are able to bring new Allegiant Air service to this region,” said Ted Roberts, Chairman of the Shreveport Airport Authority. “Allegiant is a rapidly growing airline that has a great reputation for offering a great product. This will open a new avenue in airline service that we have long sought for the customers of Shreveport.”

Allegiant also offers complete air and hotel vacation packages to Las Vegas for as low as $318* per person for three-nights, roundtrip (based on double-occupancy, stay at the Circus Circus Hotel & Casino and Wednesday departure and Saturday return if purchased by Dec. 10), through its Allegiant Vacations program. Allegiant Vacations offers low-cost packages with more than 30 of Las Vegas’ most exciting hotel properties, including the Wynn, Bellagio, Venetian, Paris, MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, Caesars, Monte Carlo, Mirage, Golden Nugget, Excalibur, Tropicana, Bally’s, Flamingo, Four Queens, Riviera, Frontier, Luxor, Circus Circus, Imperial Palace, Hotel San Remo, Gold Coast, Boardwalk, Westin Casuarina, Aladdin, Stardust, Orleans and Plaza.

Allegiant’s $79* one-way introductory fare is very limited, must be purchased by Dec. 10, 2005 and is valid for travel Jan. 18, 2006 through May 31, 2006. Introductory fares are not available on all flights and not valid the following dates: Feb. 15-20; April 12-17and 23; and May 26-28, 2006. After the introductory fare period, regular one-way fares on the route will range from $89-$209 one-way.

*All fares one-way and are non-refundable. Fares do not include PFC, segment tax or September 11 security fee of up to $10.20 per segment. Travel purchased at an Allegiant Air ticket counter or through Allegiant Air call centers will cost an additional $5.00 per segment. A segment is defined as one take-off and one landing.
