VIVA LAS VEGAS!
ALLEGIANT AIR ANNOUNCES NEW, NONSTOP AIR SERVICE BETWEEN LINCOLN, NE AND LAS VEGAS: AIRLINE CELEBRATES WITH INTRODUCTORY $69* FARE

(Lincoln, Neb.) — What happens in Vegas, may stay in Vegas, but it will soon start in Lincoln, Neb. as Allegiant Air, LLC, today announces new nonstop jet-service to Las Vegas beginning Feb. 1, 2006. To kick off the new service, the Las Vegas-based, low-fare airline is offering limited introductory fares as low as $69* one-way, when booked at www.allegiantair.com.

“We are extremely pleased to extend the Allegiant brand of low-fare, nonstop jet service to the Central Nebraska community,” Maurice J. Gallagher, Allegiant Air president & CEO, said. “This is an exciting new addition for our airline and our customers as we launch the only scheduled nonstop service between Lincoln and Las Vegas.”

The new flights will operate twice weekly between the Lincoln Airport and McCarran International Airport (Las Vegas), with service Wednesday and Saturday. Beginning Feb. 1, flights will depart Lincoln at 1 p.m. arriving in Las Vegas at 1:50 p.m. Flights leaving Las Vegas will depart at 7:45 a.m. arriving in Lincoln at 12:20 p.m. (all flight times are local).

“We are very excited to be getting low fare service to a destination resort like Las Vegas,” said John Wood, Executive Director, Lincoln Airport Authority.  “A lot of Lincoln and central Nebraska residents travel to Las Vegas each year.  Now the Lincoln Airport will have low fare, nonstop service to that exciting market giving those travelers a more convenient option when making their travel plans. If demand for this new service is as strong as I suspect it will be, there is a good chance we will be able to convince Allegiant to add additional flights.”

The carrier will utilize a full-size, 150-seat MD-80 jet aircraft on the route. The airline said that its market research and input from local community leaders indicate that the Central Nebraska community will welcome the new nonstop flights and low fares to Las Vegas as an alternative to connecting flights or long drives to other airports.

Allegiant also offers complete air and hotel vacation packages to Las Vegas for as low as $288* per person for three-nights, roundtrip (based on double-occupancy, stay at the Four Queens Hotel & Casino and Wednesday departure and Saturday return), through its Allegiant Vacations program. Allegiant Vacations offers low-cost packages with more than 35 of Las Vegas’ most exciting hotel properties, including the Wynn, Bellagio, Venetian, Paris, MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, Caesars, Monte Carlo, Mirage, Golden Nugget, Excalibur, Tropicana, Bally’s, Flamingo, Four Queens, Riviera, Frontier, Luxor, Circus Circus, Imperial Palace, Hotel San Remo, Gold Coast, Boardwalk, Westin Casuarina, Aladdin, Stardust, Orleans and Plaza.

Allegiant’s $69* one-way introductory fare is very limited, must be purchased by Dec. 31, 2005 and is valid for travel Feb. 1, 2006 through May 31, 2006. Introductory fares are not available on all flights and not valid the following dates: Feb. 15-20; April 12-17and 23; and May 26-29, 2006. After the introductory fare period, regular one-way fares on the route will range from $89-$199 one-way.

*All fares one-way and are non-refundable. Fares do not include PFC, segment tax or September 11 security fee of up to $10.20 per segment. Travel purchased at an Allegiant Air ticket counter or through Allegiant Air call centers will cost an additional $5.00 per segment. A segment is defined as one take-off and one landing. Fare rules, routes and schedules are subject to change without notice. Restrictions apply.
