VEGAS' ALLEGIANT AIR TO EXPAND SERVICE IN EIGHT MARKETS

(Las Vegas, Nev.) -Allegiant Air, LLC, the Las Vegas, Nev. based airline, announces service expansions in eight of the 33 cities currently served by the low-cost carrier.

The company will add frequencies as follows:

  • Missoula, Mont. -- Tuesday service beginning Oct. 3 and seasonal Saturday service Nov. 11 through Dec. 31
  • Bismarck, N.D. -- Wednesday service beginning Oct. 4 and Saturday service beginning Dec. 2
  • Wichita, Kan. -- Saturday service beginning Oct. 7 and seasonal Tuesday service Nov. 21 through Jan. 2, 2007
  • Tri-Cities, Wash. -- Tuesday service beginning Oct. 3 and seasonal Saturday service Nov. 25 through Dec. 30
  • Billings, Mont. -- Sunday service beginning Nov. 19
  • Peoria, Ill. -- Tuesday service beginning Oct. 3
  • Cedar Rapids, Iowa - Seasonal Wednesday and Saturday service Oct. 4 through Nov. 12. Wednesday and Saturday service will resume Dec. 23
  • Des Moines, Iowa -- Wednesday and Saturday service beginning Oct. 4 The number of cities from which Allegiant provides Las Vegas air service has nearly tripled, growing from 12 to 33 markets during the past two years. Since 2001, Allegiant has carried more than 3 million customers to and from Las Vegas. This year alone, Allegiant has introduced new service in 14 markets and expanded service in 19 cities.
