ALLEGIANT AIR ANNOUNCES NEW NONSTOP AIR SERVICE TO ORLANDO: THE TRI-STATE TO ORLANDO FOR JUST $59* (Huntington, W.V.)- Low-cost airline Allegiant Air, LLC today announces new, nonstop jet service to the fun and sun of Orlando, Fla. from Huntington, W.V. beginning Nov. 3. The low-fare carrier will celebrate the convenient new service to the Sunshine State, with introductory fares as low as $59* each way, when booked at www.allegiantair.com. The self-proclaimed "Official Airline for Sunshine" will launch the new scheduled service from Huntington Tri-State Airport to Orlando Sanford International Airport with complete vacation packages including roundtrip air and three-night hotel stay for as low as $187**. (Price is per person, based on three-night hotel stay at the Rodeway Inn-Maingate, double occupancy and reflects a Tuesday departure and Friday return.) "We are extremely pleased to extend the Allegiant brand of low-fare, nonstop jet service to the tri-state community," Maurice J. Gallagher, Allegiant Air president & CEO, said. "This is an exciting new addition for our airline and our customers." The airline said that its market research and input from local community leaders indicate that the tri-state community will welcome the new nonstop flights and low fares to Orlando as an alternative to connecting flights and long drives to other airports. Allegiant will utilize 150-seat, MD-80 series, jet-aircraft on the route. "The Tri-State Airport Authority and staff are very excited about the entrance of Allegiant Air to our market," Larry Salyers, Airport Director said. "It's a great airline that will provide the area with low cost airfares to Orlando and great travel packages. Our communities have been asking for a low-cost carrier, and with Orlando being the number one destination from the tri-state, we have a perfect match. Let's take advantage of this wonderful opportunity!" The new flights will operate twice weekly, with service Tuesday and Friday. Flights will depart the Tri-State Airport at 12:10 p.m. arriving in Orlando Sanford International Airport at 2:00 p.m. Flights leaving Orlando will depart at 9:45 a.m. arriving in Huntington at 11:35 a.m. (all flight times are local.) The Allegiant Vacations division of the company will offer low-cost packages with 21 of Orlando's most exciting hotel properties and three in Daytona Beach. Partner properties include The Swan, The Dolphin, The Hilton in Lake Buena Vista and the Radisson Parkway. Low-cost packages are available to include hotel, car and amusement park tickets for additional savings. Reservations may be made through the company's website at www.allegiantair.com, the airline's Reservations Center at 702-505-8888 or professional travel agents. Allegiant's $59* one-way introductory fare is limited, not available on all flights and must be purchased by Sept. 23, 2006, for travel through Jan. 31, 2007.
