(Rockford, Ill.) -Allegiant Air, LLC is making it even easier to get away to the fun and sun of Orlando, Fla. from Rockford, Ill. with flights nearly every day of the week. Beginning Feb. 7, 2007, the airline will offer seasonal six-day-a-week service to Orlando-Sanford with flights Sunday through Friday.

"We are very pleased with the continued performance of the Chicagoland market," said Maurice J. Gallagher, the airline's president and CEO. "This expansion in service will help more Rockford area customers get to the fun and sun of Orlando. We are confident this schedule will have great appeal."

Beginning Feb. 7, 2007, Allegiant Air will add Tuesday and Wednesday flights for a total of six flights weekly. This is the third addition of nonstop flights to Orlando this year. Allegiant began the nonstop service from Chicago Rockford International Airport to Orlando Sanford International Airport Dec. 15, 2005. The airline began service to Las Vegas Nov. 3, 2005 and will inaugurate service to the Tampa Bay area Nov. 16.
