VIVA LAS VEGAS! ALLEGIANT AIR ANNOUNCES NEW, NONSTOP AIR SERVICE BETWEEN KNOXVILLE AND LAS VEGAS: AIRLINE CELEBRATES WITH INTRODUCTORY $99* FARE

(Knoxville, Tenn.) - What happens in Vegas, may stay in Vegas, but it will soon start in Knoxville, Tenn. as Allegiant Air, LLC, today announces new nonstop jet-service to Las Vegas, Nev. beginning Feb. 15, 2007. To kick off the new service, the Las Vegas-based, low-fare airline is offering limited introductory fares as low as $99* one-way, when booked at www.allegiantair.com.

"We are extremely pleased to expand the Allegiant brand of low-fare, nonstop jet service to the East Tennessee community," Maurice J. Gallagher, Allegiant Air president & CEO, said. "This is an exciting new addition for our airline and our customers as we launch the only scheduled service between Knoxville and Las Vegas."

The new flights will operate four days a week between the McGhee Tyson Airport (Knoxville) and McCarran International Airport (Las Vegas). Beginning Feb. 15, flights will depart Knoxville Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 7:50 p.m. arriving in Las Vegas at 9:05 p.m. Flights leaving Las Vegas will depart Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday at 11:30 p.m. arriving in Knoxville at 6:20 a.m. (all flight times are local). Allegiant will begin service to Tampa Bay via the St. Petersburg/Clearwater International Airport Dec. 13.

"The Airport Authority works hard to provide East Tennesseeans with nonstop destinations that are popular with our region," said Kirk Huddleston, Chairman of the Metropolitan Knoxville Airport Authority's Board of Commissioners. "By adding Las Vegas, we are providing travelers access to a city that connects to other West Coast markets while accommodating the travel needs of over 45,000 passengers a year."

The carrier will utilize a full-size, 150-seat MD-80 jet aircraft on the route. The airline said that its market research and input from local community leaders indicate that the Knoxville and the Eastern Tennessee area will welcome the new nonstop flights and low fares to Las Vegas as an alternative to connecting flights or long drives to other airports.

Through its Allegiant Vacations program, the company also offers complete air and hotel vacation packages to Las Vegas for as low as $250* per person for three-nights, roundtrip (based on double-occupancy, stay at the Plaza Hotel & Casino, a Monday/Tuesday departure and Wednesday/Thursday return) Allegiant Vacations offers low-cost packages with more than 35 of Las Vegas' most exciting hotel properties, including The Wynn, Bellagio, Venetian, Paris, MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, Caesars, Monte Carlo, Mirage, Excalibur, Tropicana, Bally's, Flamingo, Riviera, Frontier, Luxor, Circus Circus, Imperial Palace, Hooters, Gold Coast, Barbary Coast, Westin Casuarina, Aladdin and Orleans.

Allegiant's $99* one-way introductory fare is limited, must be purchased by Dec. 9, 2006 and is valid for travel through March 31, 2007. Introductory fares are not available on all flights. After the introductory fare period, regular one-way fares on the route start as low as $109 one-way.

*All fares one-way and are non-refundable. Fares do not include PFC, segment tax or September 11 security fee of up to $10.20 per segment. Travel purchased at an Allegiant Air ticket counter or through Allegiant Air call centers will cost an additional $5.00 per segment. A segment is defined as one take-off and one landing. Fare rules, routes and schedules are subject to change without notice. Restrictions apply.

Reservations can be made on the airline's website at www.allegiantair.com, through the airline's Reservations and Information Center at 702-505-8888 or through professional travel agents.
