(Springfield, Mo.)-- Allegiant Air, announces the seasonal expansion of its popular low-cost, nonstop service to Las Vegas, Nev. from Springfield, Mo. Due to popular demand, the carrier will add Tuesday service beginning Feb. 27, 2007 through April 3, 2007.

"We are pleased with the performance of the Springfield-Branson market," said Maurice J. Gallagher, the airline's president and CEO. "The addition of a Tuesday flight will make it easier for customers to get to the fun and excitement of Las Vegas. We are confident this new schedule will have great appeal."

The five-day-a-week service departs Springfield Branson National Airport at 7:50 p.m. arriving in Las Vegas at 8:55 p.m. Flights leaving Las Vegas will depart at 2:10 p.m. arriving in Springfield at 7:10 p.m. (all flight times are local).

Allegiant Air inaugurated its convenient low-cost, nonstop service from Springfield to Las Vegas April 21, 2005. The airline inaugurated the first flight to Orlando Oct. 5, 2005 and the first flight to the Tampa Bay area Dec. 13.
