(Des Moines, Iowa) Low-cost airline Allegiant Air, announces the seasonal expansion of service to Orlando, Fla. by adding Monday and Friday flights March 1, 2007 through April 14, 2007.

"The Des Moines area market has shown a great demand for our low-cost service to Orlando," said Maurice J. Gallagher, the airline's president and CEO. "The expansion of additional flights will help more customers get to the fun and sun of Orlando at low-low fares and from the convenience of the Des Moines International Airport. We are confident this schedule will have great appeal."

The new seasonal service departs Des Moines at 6:10 p.m. arriving in Orlando at 9:55 p.m. Flights leaving Orlando depart at 3:45 p.m. arriving in Des Moines at 5:35 p.m. (all flight times are local.)

Allegiant Air inaugurated service from Des Moines International Airport to Orlando May 26, 2005. The low-cost airline inaugurated the first flight to the Las Vegas June 19, 2003.
