VIVA LAS VEGAS! ALLEGIANT AIR ANNOUNCES NEW, NONSTOP AIR SERVICE BETWEEN CHAMPAIGN AND LAS VEGAS: AIRLINE CELEBRATES WITH INTRODUCTORY $79* FARE

(Savoy, Ill.) - What happens in Vegas, may stay in Vegas, but it will soon start in Champaign, Ill. as Allegiant Air today announces new nonstop jet-service to Las Vegas, Nev. beginning August 16. To kick off the new service, the Las Vegas-based, low-fare airline is offering limited introductory fares as low as $79* one-way.

"We are extremely pleased to expand the Allegiant brand of low-fare, nonstop jet service within the Central Illinois community," Maurice J. Gallagher, Allegiant Air president & CEO, said. "This is an exciting new addition for our airline and our customers as we launch the only full-size jet service between Champaign and Las Vegas."

The new flights will operate twice weekly between University of Illinois' Willard Airport and McCarran International Airport (Las Vegas), with service Thursday and Sunday. Beginning Aug. 16, flights will depart Champaign at 1:00 p.m. arriving in Las Vegas at 2:40 p.m. Flights leaving Las Vegas will depart at 7:05 a.m. arriving in Champaign at 12:20 p.m. (all flight times are local).

"We are very pleased and excited about our newest air service from CMI Willard Airport," Gene Barton, Director of Willard Airport and Associate Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs at the University of Illinois. "Big jet service is back at CMI and flying geographically where our consultants tell us is very advantageous. This partnership will be good for the airport, the Champaign County community and especially good for the leisure traveler. If this venture is as successful as we anticipate, this will be just the first of several new destinations."

The carrier will utilize a full-size, 150-seat MD-80 jet aircraft on the route. The airline said its market research and input from local community leaders indicate the Central Illinois community will welcome the new nonstop flights and low fares to Las Vegas as an alternative to connecting flights or long drives to other airports. Allegiant also serves the Central Illinois community through the Greater Peoria Regional Airport with service to Las Vegas, Tampa Bay and Orlando (Orlando service starts Nov. 16.)

Through its Allegiant Vacations program, the company also offers complete air and hotel vacation packages to Las Vegas for as low as $254* per person for four-nights, roundtrip (based on double-occupancy, stay at the Plaza Hotel & Casino and a Sunday arrival/Thursday return) Allegiant Vacations offers low-cost packages with more than 35 of Las Vegas' most exciting hotel properties, including The Wynn, Bellagio, Venetian, Paris, MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, Caesars, Monte Carlo, Mirage, Excalibur, Tropicana, Bally's, Flamingo, Riviera, Frontier, Luxor, Circus Circus, Imperial Palace, Hooters, Gold Coast, Barbary Coast, Westin Casuarina, Aladdin and Orleans.

Allegiant's $79* one-way introductory fare is limited, must be purchased by June 23, 2007 and is valid for travel through Feb. 10, 2008. Introductory fares are not available on all flights. After the introductory fare period, regular one-way fares on the route start as low as $99 one-way.

*Seats are limited and may not be available on all flights. All fares one-way and are non-refundable. Fares do not include PFC, segment tax or September 11 security fee of up to $10.40 per segment. Travel purchased through Allegiant Air call centers will cost an additional $5.00 per segment. A checked baggage fee will apply per bag, per segment.
