VIVA LAS VEGAS! ALLEGIANT AIR ANNOUNCES NEW, NONSTOP AIR SERVICE BETWEEN GREENVILLE-SPARTANBURG AND LAS VEGAS: AIRLINE CELEBRATES WITH INTRODUCTORY $89* FARE

(Greer, S.C.) - What happens in Vegas, may stay in Vegas, but it will soon start in Greenville-Spartanburg, S.C. as Allegiant Air today announces new nonstop jet-service to Las Vegas, Nev. beginning Aug. 23. To kick off the new service, the Las Vegas-based, low-fare airline is offering limited introductory fares as low as $89* one-way.

"We are extremely pleased to expand the Allegiant brand of low-fare, jet service in the Upstate community," Maurice J. Gallagher, Allegiant Air president & CEO, said. "This is an exciting new addition for our airline and our customers as we launch the only low-cost, nonstop jet service between Greenville-Spartanburg and Las Vegas."

The new flights will operate twice weekly between Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP) and McCarran International Airport (Las Vegas.) Flights will depart Greenville-Spartanburg Friday and Monday at 7:20 a.m. arriving in Las Vegas at 8:50 a.m. Flights leaving Las Vegas will depart Thursday and Sunday at 11 p.m. arriving in Greenville-Spartanburg at 6:00 a.m. (all flight times are local).

"Without an easy way to get there, Las Vegas is still one of GSP's top 10 destinations," GSP Executive Director Gary Jackson said. "Now that Allegiant Air is starting direct service and providing it at a low fare, traffic to Las Vegas should skyrocket. Allegiant Air, with its non-stop service into the Florida market and now Las Vegas, is an excellent addition to the GSP family of airlines."

The carrier will utilize a full-size, 150-seat MD-80 jet aircraft on the route. The airline said its market research and input from local community leaders indicate the Upstate community will welcome the new nonstop flights and low fares to Las Vegas as an alternative to connecting flights or long drives to other airports. Allegiant began low-cost service from Greenville-Spartanburg with nonstop flights to Orlando Nov. 14, 2006. The carrier began flights to the Tampa Bay area Feb. 13, 2007.

Through its Allegiant Vacations program, the company also offers complete air and hotel vacation packages to Las Vegas for as low as $250* per person for three-nights, roundtrip (based on double-occupancy, stay at the Plaza Hotel & Casino and a Monday arrival/Thursday departure) Allegiant Vacations offers low-cost packages with more than 40 of Las Vegas' most exciting hotel properties, including The Wynn, Bellagio, Venetian, Paris, MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, Caesars, Monte Carlo, Mirage, Excalibur, Tropicana, Bally's, Flamingo, Riviera, Frontier, Luxor, Circus Circus, Imperial Palace, Hooters, Gold Coast, Barbary Coast, Rio All-Suite, Planet Hollywood and Orleans.

Allegiant's $89* one-way introductory fare is limited, must be purchased by July 21, 2007 and is valid for travel through Feb. 10, 2008. Introductory fares are not available on all flights. After the introductory fare period, regular one-way fares on the route start as low as $109 one-way.

*Seats are limited and may not be available on all flights. All fares one-way and are non-refundable. Fares do not include PFC, segment tax or September 11 security fee of up to $10.40 per segment. Travel purchased through Allegiant Air call centers will cost an additional $5.00 per segment. A convenience fee of $8.50 per traveling customer will be applied when booked at www.allegiantair.com or through an Allegiant Air Reservation Center. Convenience fees do not apply to tickets purchased at an Allegiant Air airport ticket counter. A checked baggage fee will apply per bag, per segment. A segment is defined as one take-off and one landing. Fare rules, routes and schedules are subject to change without notice. This offer is not available Nov. 21, 25 and 26, 2006; Dec. 12-31, 2006 and Jan. 1-7, 2008. Restrictions apply.
