BASIC FUNCTION:
This position is responsible for all segments of general accounting, inventory functions and will interface
with others throughout the organization on a wide range of productivity improvement,
cost-containment and other goals and objectives.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES:
- Analyze & Reconcile various general ledger accounts
- Participate in the planning & reconciliation of the physical inventory counts
- Supervise the Maintenance expense invoice processing functions
- Track all fixed assets purchases; calculate & record related depreciation expense
- Ensure compliance with departmental policies & procedures
- Develop and maintain an appropriate internal control environment
- Other duties as assigned by the Chief Financial Officer or the Director of Accounting
- Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug screen
REPORTS TO: Director of Accounting
SUPERVISES: Accounting Administrators
INTERACTIONS: Department Heads; Office Staff; Outside Vendors
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Experience: Minimum 3 years related experience, plus Supervisory experience
Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of GAAP; Strong Excel Skills
Working conditions: Primarily Indoors; Office Settings
