BASIC FUNCTION:
The Buyer, using an approved purchase request, has authority to purchase materials, parts and equipment for maintaining Allegiant Air aircraft.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES:
- Arranges for documentation that supports eligibility for use on Allegiant Air aircraft
- Maintains files on purchase transactions as required
- Coordinates with Maintenance, Planning and Maintenance Control regarding AOG part request status
- Replacement inventory
A. Expendable (maintain min/max for all locations)
B. Rotable
C. Consumable
D. AOG items
E. Deferrable/carry forward items
- Review , approve and code all associated invoices from items listed above
- Tooling requests
- Ground equipment for new station openings
- Maintaining ticket stock and forms for stations and distribute
- Inventory support for the C check inspections
- Component and kit purchases for induction aircraft that do not meet 121 requirements
- PO support for tech pubs, fleet planning, stations
- Quarterly inventory of expendable and rotable inventory
- Other duties as assigned by the Manager of Material Services
- Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
- Must have authorization to work in the U.S. as defined in the Immigrations Act of 1986
REPORTS TO: Manager of Material Service
SUPERVISES: N/A
INTERACTIONS: Mechanics; Manager of Planning; Director of Maintenance; Quality Control; Manager of Material Service.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: 3-5 years in prior aviation related procurement, (Stockroom/Warehouse experience preferred)
Knowledge: Basic Computer Skills
Working conditions: Indoors – Office setting
Physical demands: Ability to lift 70 lbs – load/unload boxes, pack up parts.
