Community

We Are Here

Our communities are only as strong as the people who live in them. With a family of more than 4,000 Team Members across the country, we run, walk, bike, donate, clean, and volunteer our time to make a difference. Here are a few of the ways we support the communities where we live and work.

Team Member Outreach

A great benefit of being an Allegiant Team Member is being offered many opportunities to engage with local communities.  We hold school supply drives, form local sports teams, visit schools to speak to children about aviation careers, collect food for local food banks, and participate in dozens of other activities driven by our passionate Team Members.

Social Responsibility

We are committed to supporting charitable organizations that are incredibly meaningful to our Company and our Team Members.  Some of our favorites are the American Red Cross, Make-A-Wish and Wings for Autism, the Allegiant Honors program for active and retired military, and several different STEM programs focused on childhood education.

Make A Wish

Since 2012, we have supported the Make-A-Wish Foundation by flying hundreds of children and their families to various destinations to help make their wishes comes true. In 2016, we donated 7,500 feet of office space to the Southern Nevada chapter, making our Headquarters location their new Nevada home base. Our Las Vegas-based employees donate time at this location and in local events, and additionally, we donate $1 from each snack pack sold on any of our flights to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.  We’re proud to contribute to Make A Wish so significantly with space, time and monetary funds.

Sport Sponsorships

We believe in health and wellness, and that activity is an important part of helping our Team members be the best they can be.  One way we demonstrate this is by sponsoring any sports teams our employees form, all across the country.   From bowling to basketball, from soccer to running, (just to name a few) – Allegiant covers the cost of registration fees, field rentals, and the like, to encourage our team members to dive in and participate
