One of our values is to be Outcome Based - always striving to be better .To do that, we are always learning and training. We have two state-of-the-art training facilities - one in Las Vegas, Nevada and the other in Sanford, Florida - complete with flight simulators, inflight training equipment and classrooms for crew members and maintenance technicians. We expect the best results from our team, so we provide all the tools you need to succeed through in-person training as well as an innovative and interactive online catalog.
As the old saying goes: "We work hard to play hard." At our Las Vegas headquarters, our teams thrive in an open, casual work environment where they can challenge one another to a game of Ping-Pong in our break room (known as the Hangar), mingle at various happy hours in our courtyard and try different foods from a monthly food truck at our campus. Growing as quickly as we have, it’s important to make sure that our family dynamic is not lost since it’s the core of our culture. At all of our airports, we host events for our team members to get out and have fun. From shrimp boils on the beaches of St. Pete to catching an Oakland A’s game, fun is always at your fingertips. We have a team dedicated to building culture & engagement, but it’s the ideas from all team members and our core value of being Biased for Action that make it possible.
We aren’t shy about displaying appreciation for our hard-working team members. Our robust recognition program allows you to give immediate credit with electronic or physical thank you notes -redeemable for gift cards! Recognizing and rewarding our teams is important in motivating us to celebrate achievements and always strive for more. We love flare! Participation is also shown through our lapel pin series which signify a team member's involvement in milestones, fun programs or system-wide initiatives.
We hate the rumor mill and we value Transparency - one of our eight core values. We have a variety of options that open two-way communication and feedback. Our senior leadership team hosts a town hall once a quarter to answer questions, give feedback and hear what matters most to our team members. Our team member survey provides a window into areas we are doing well in and where we may need to improve. Our business model is strong and always adapting in innovative ways to be more efficient, improve on-time performance or increase revenue. Many of those ideas come from team members through a Share Innovation program. From who should win "cutest pet" in our monthly online photo contest to which new item should be added to our swag store to even naming our safety slogan, your opinion matters!
