Once you dock in Staten Island, make a beeline to Snug Harbor, an 83-acre facility with botanical gardens, cobblestone streets and beautiful homes.
The High Line
While everyone else is flocking to Central Park, – an 843-acre NYC icon – you should hightail it over to the High Line. This 1.5-acre park is situated on an elevated platform overlooking some of New York City’s most vibrant neighborhoods, including Chelsea, the Meatpacking District and Hell’s Kitchen. This lovely manicured green space also holds numerous food vendors, a large sunbathing area and public art installations that transport you away from the hustle of the city, while keeping you immersed in the energy and magic of the skyline.

Socrates Sculpture Park
Marvel at Manhattan’s legendary skyline from a different perspective from this 4.5-acre Queens park. In 1986, local artists created this beautiful space over land that used to be a landfill. It hosts sculpture exhibits year-round and is specially designed to encourage artists to bring their craft outdoors. It also offers some fantastic skyline views, a Greenmarket and free yoga classes.
