Chuckanut Brewery and Kitchen

beer flightBeing in the craft beer industry for over 30 years, it’s safe to say brewmaster, Will Kemper and his wife, Mari know what they’re doing at Chuckanut Brewery. We promise your taste buds will agree! From their light, crisp and lemony ChuckaReuben Ale to their dry and hoppy British IPA, making a choice can be difficult—but luckily you don’t have to decide! Order a beer flight and ask the bartender to select their top six. After, you can order a full pint of your favorite! Don’t forget to grab a bite while you’re here too! The brewery has a fantastic menu, featuring monthly and weekly specials sourced from as many local and regional food growers and producers as possible. If you’re visiting in the summer, a visit for their Saturday and Sunday brunches is a must—complete with beer cocktails and mimosas!

Kulshan Brewing Company

kulshan brewery Kulshan Brewing is a charming brewery, with two separate locations, that works hard to sustainably create great beer! Their brewery focuses on creating true-to-style ales and lagers. We decided to check out their double IPA called, Bull of the Woods. Though every option sounding absolutely delicious, we decided on this hoppy drink due to its beautiful deep golden color. We were not disappointed! This beer is dry with a ton of hoppy flavor. You’ll be able to taste mouth-watering hints of grapefruit, pine and spice. Be sure to visit their James Street location for a family-friendly taproom, a dog-friendly outdoor beer garden and rotating food trucks. Plus, check their website for regular events and music for some unique and local entertainment!

Wander Brewing

Wander beerWander Brewing’s adventurous name gives good insight to the heartbeat of this business and its globe-trotting owners, Chad and Colleen Kuehl. “Wandering teaches us that not all creatures follow the same path,
uniqueness is good and some of the richest life lessons come from the most unexpected places,” the Kuehls state on their website. Spending most of their married life traveling, the couple has incorporated those rich and unique lessons into their beers— giving each of their beers a name based off the origin of the ingredients used and the area in which the style of beer was created. While enjoying your travel-inspired beer, sit and daydream with your friends about where you’d like to take your next Allegiant vacation!
