Artisan’s AtelierOffering artists an affordable place to create and sell their work, this working art studio and gallery in downtown Punta Gorda showcases the pieces of 10 to 15 local artists at any given time. Shoppers will find a wide range of mediums on display, including paintings, sculptures and occasionally writings.


This seaside art gallery at Fishermen’s Village is an expanded and enhanced version of the popular Creations Gallery in downtown Punta Gorda, a local favorite since 2008. Featuring wares by more than 50 local artists—many of whom are award winners in their fields—shoppers never know what they might find, from beautiful jewelry to wood pieces that gleam like glass. The gallery also showcases a few artists from other areas who produce extremely unique items guaranteed to impress even the biggest art aficionado.


One of Placida’s favorite gift shops, this eye-catching art gallery with a 10-foot alligator painted outside of its entrance is filled with custom art by the Hatch family: Jon, his brother Chris and their father, John. Shoppers will find an assortment of charming nautical art pieces as well as stunning acrylic paintings, Key West-style furniture, antiques, collectibles and more. Some of the works by eco-artist Jon Hatch were created with discarded items that he recycled and turned into his latest masterpieces.
