’Tis the season to drink and be merry! Whether you’re looking for a traditional cocktail or a modern twist that embodies the holidays, you’ll enjoy imbibing with friends and loved ones at these five bars in downtown Las Vegas.

At this American craft whiskey cocktail bar dedicated to classic mixology, you can order barrel-aged cocktails such as the Boulevardier, which features Russell’s Reserve 10-year-old bourbon, Carpano Antica Formula sweet vermouth and Campari. Plus, quaff a selection of mules (including their incomparable Moscow Mule) served in traditional copper cups.

The Parlour Bar & Lounge at El Cortez

Perfect for a cozy get-together, you can relax in leather club chairs positioned around a piano while ordering spirit-warming concoctions. Sip on the Brandy Alexander, consisting of The Christian Brothers Brandy, crème de cocoa and cream, or an Old Fashioned, a blend of bourbon and Angostura bitters along with a slice of orange, maraschino cherry, sugar cube and splash of water.
