In addition to being a world-renowned entertainment destination, Las Vegas is a major culinary hub. And the variety of dining options can seem daunting—especially if you’re only spending a couple of days in town.

Lip Smacking Foodie Tours makes exploring Las Vegas’ food scene accessible and easy. Taking a unique approach to food in Las Vegas, Lip Smacking showcases not only the best restaurants, but also the best dishes those restaurants have to offer.

Lip Smacking offers food lovers three tours from which to choose. Sunseeker recently experienced the afternoon Strip tour stopping at four acclaimed Las Vegas hotspots.

FIRST STOP: HERRINGBONE

Herringbone at the Aria offers social dining and sustainable, high-quality meats and seafood. Seated on the patio, we sampled the seasoned, delicious tuna poke and meatball slider—made from a 100-year old family recipe. Our tasting ended with the tender and spicy wings, a must-try at this dynamic restaurant.

SECOND STOP: JAVIER’S CANTINA

Also at the Aria, this famed Mexican eatery serves up authentic Baja cuisine with fresh ingredients. Our group tried a variety of fresh salsas along with signature enchiladas. With a combination of chicken, Dungeness crab and sautéed shrimp, each enchilada packed a unique and flavorful punch that will leave you hungry for more.

THIRD STOP: ESTIATORIO MILOS

Estiatorio Milos at the Cosmopolitan offers, arguably, the freshest seafood in Las Vegas with carefully prepared Greek-inspired dishes. The Greek Salad features robust, vine-ripened tomatoes with barrel-aged feta cheese. The grilled octopus was tender and delicious, but the table favorite was the Milos Special: fried zucchini and eggplant slices with tzatziki and Kefalograviera cheese.

FOURTH STOP: HEXX

Hexx at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel is the only location in Nevada creating chocolate from bean to bar. Each type of chocolate is crafted to showcase the flavor profiles unique to each bean. After a tour of the chocolate kitchen, our group tried the signature Aztec Cake—moist Venezuelan chocolate cake pieces, spiced gnash and almonds.
