Las Vegas may be known for its many celebrity chef restaurants, but what most people don’t realize is that you needn’t break the bank to enjoy a meal at one. Several of the Strip’s finest celebrity chef establishments offer prix fixe tasting menus so guests can dine like a star at a reasonable price.
BUDDY V’S RISTORANTE INSIDE GRAND CANAL SHOPPES AT THE VENETIAN I THE PALAZZO
One of the Strip’s most popular Italian restaurants, this cozy eatery by “Cake Boss” star Buddy Valastro offers a very affordable three-course dinner prix fixe menu. Priced at just $40 per person, guests can choose from nearly a dozen of the restaurant’s signature offerings, including Valastro’s famed Cannoli made with cinnamon pastry, sweet ricotta cream, cocoa drops and pistachios for dessert. Portions are plentiful, especially the oven-baked Chicken Parm which comes with two pieces of chicken topped with provolone and mozzarella as well as a side of spaghetti marinara. Other delightful dishes include the picture-perfect Tiramisu and the flavorful Panzanella Salad made with buffalo mozzarella, tomatoes and focaccia croutons. Get your reservation here.
EMERIL’S NEW ORLEANS FISH HOUSE AT MGM GRAND
This savory seafood restaurant by Emeril Lagasse will launch a new four-course summer tasting menu in early June for lunch and dinner. Priced at $55 per person, the menu will showcase both signature and seasonal fare and include such impeccable items as Emeril’s signature Barbecued Shrimp served with a rosemary biscuit. Not to exclude anyone from enjoying the menu, some non-seafood items will be available as well, like the Herb-roasted Free-range Chicken Breast. Wine pairings can be added for an additional cost.
CHARLIE PALMER STEAK AT FOUR SEASONS HOTEL LAS VEGAS
Home to one of the Strip’s best dining deals, this steakhouse from acclaimed chef Charlie Palmer offers a three-course Cut of the Week menu for only $58 a person. While dishes change weekly, guests are guaranteed a succulent cut of meat in addition to a phenomenal first course, two family-style sides and dessert. Recent menu items included a tender Skirt Steak marinated in garlic, ginger and soy sauce, paired with an Arugula Salad with artichokes, peaches, Gorgonzola and white balsamic vinaigrette; Miso-glazed Snow Peas; Fresh Herb Fried Rice; and a Guava Tart topped with coconut and mango-passion fruit sorbet. Bottomless wine pairings are also included with the first two courses, making the menu a truly exquisite dinner experience. Check out the menu here.
