There may be several country and western bars in Las Vegas, but there’s only one Gilley’s Saloon, Dance Hall & BBQ.

NFR fans can test their strength and stamina on Gilley’s mechanical bull
Home to the world-famous Gilley Girls—sexy servers donning bikinis, chaps, cowgirl boots and cowboy hats—Gilley’s Saloon, Dance Hall & BBQ at Treasure Island is one of the Strip’s most popular places for country fans to hang out, especially during the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (NFR), when it hosts live entertainment throughout the 10-day event. In addition to hosting a free NFR bull riders autograph session on December 13 from noon to 2 p.m., rodeo fans can put the dance hall’s 1,000-square-foot dance floor to use every night starting at 10 p.m. when various country rock bands perform on Gilley’s stage. There’s no cover charge in the dance hall/saloon before 9 p.m. After 9 p.m. there is a $10 cover charge.
Visitors can also see how their strength and stamina compares to their favorite NFR bull rider by going for a ride on Gilley’s mechanical bull. Not only can guests purchase individual rides for $10, but they can also participate in a Toughest Cowboy Competition every Thursday at 10 p.m. or Bikini Bull Riding every Sunday at 11 p.m. and compete for a $200 cash prize. For those who might need a little liquid encouragement beforehand, Gilley’s will be featuring an assortment of drink specials throughout the rodeo.

When it’s time to feed that cowboy-sized appetite, Gilley’s offers an extensive menu of barbecue fare and Southern specialties for lunch and dinner. Guests can dine inside of the Strip-front restaurant and watch passersby through the floor-to-ceiling windows, as they feast upon such delicious dishes as the tender apple-juice-braised Brisket “Filet” or the lip-smackin’ Baby Back Ribs. Be sure to start off your meal with a Giant Bavarian Pretzel to share with the table, and don’t forget a side of the tasty White Cheddar and Green Chili Grits to enjoy with your entrée.
For those who don’t have tickets to the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo, Gilley’s will be showing the event live via satellite each night starting at 6:45 p.m. Fans will then be right where they need to be to revel in all of Gilley’s post-rodeo entertainment following each day’s competitions!
