Wrangler NFR week in Las Vegas is a celebration of Western lifestyle at every level, and the officially-sanctioned special events and parties are the best way to make your 10 days in Vegas perfect.

Official award presentations to the nightly rodeo winners, viewing parties at mega-resorts and after parties are where cowgirls and cowboys hit the town with their dancin’ boots and boogie until dawn, are just a few of the ways to enjoy Wrangler NFR After Dark.

Some of the top spots to take in the after-hours action include Rodeo Vegas, the official Wrangler NFR after-party of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) at The Mirage. Here you can catch live entertainment nightly from country music’s biggest stars, indulge in rodeo drink specials and much more. For more live entertainment, head over to the MGM Grand where you’ll find country music nightly at the MGM Grand Gold Buckle Zone. The Orleans features the Legendary Buck’N Ball, along with the filming of the “National Finals Tonight Show” hosted by Don Gay, Joe Beaver and Dan Miller, and at South Point you can take in the nightly Go Round Buckle Presentations and the Ram Rodeo Tailgate parties. Las Vegas goes all out for rodeo fans, and this is just a sampling of the many events!

“How far the rodeo has come since it first started is the first thing that comes to my mind,” said Scott Sibella, MGM vice president and chief operating officer. “It’s such a great event for Las Vegas, during a period that was extremely slow many years ago. It’s been an honor being part of the planning team and making the rodeo what it is today. It’s much more than a rodeo; it’s become an event throughout the city. What I tell people is to enjoy all the events that are planned over the 10 days, from shopping, entertainment, viewing parties and the other great events that take place during the rodeo.”

In addition to all of this nightly action, be sure to visit Cowboy Christmas and the RMEF Hunter and Outdoor Christmas Expo. You had better start planning your daily and nightly goings on while you are in Las Vegas for rodeo’s biggest show!
