An Iconic Buffet Experience in Las Vegas

On Nov. 13, 2015, the Rio All-Suite Las Vegas Hotel & Casino’s popular Village Seafood Buffet merged with Carnival World Buffet to bring more than 70 savory seafood offerings to Carnival World’s already expansive selection of dinner dishes. Now named the Carnival World & Seafood Buffet, guests can feast upon more than 300 tasty items!

Diners can access the premium seafood section for an additional fee during Carnival World’s dinner hours and will be given an ultraviolet hand stamp as proof of purchase. Once inside the secured area, visitors will discover more crustaceans and fish than King Triton’s kingdom—everything from Jonah crab claws to grilled ono. Guests can feast upon a variety of items either hot or cold, including fried or chilled oysters and scallops, as well as familiar favorites like shrimp and grits and lobster mac and cheese. There’s also a selection of sumptuous salads for seafood lovers to choose from, including octopus!

Of course, not all of the buffet’s seafood selections are exclusive to the premium seafood area. Like before, guests who just purchase dinner at Carnival World will still have access to several seafood dishes, including Cajun crawfish, hot and cold crab legs and oven-roasted salmon. Diners can also enjoy Carnival World’s scrumptious dinner spread, which includes freshly carved items like juicy prime rib and oven-roasted pork loin. There are a couple of live-action food stations as well. At the made-to-order Asian soup station guests can choose from seven different options such as Vietnamese pho and at the teppanyaki station visitors can pick from either chicken, beef or shrimp and watch as the chef prepares their dish using a variety of fresh vegetables.

While the premium seafood area is closed during lunch/brunch hours, guests can still enjoy several delicacies from the sea earlier in the day, including blackened trout and an assortment of fresh sushi rolls. Other afternoon favorites include the aforementioned live-action food stations, dim sum and a full dessert station boasting nine gelato flavors (try the Elvis: peanut butter, banana and jelly).

Carnival World & Seafood Buffet is open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. with the premium seafood section open daily for dinner from 3 to 10 p.m. For more information, visit Carnival World & Seafood Buffet for more info.
