Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa
2400 East Missouri Ave
Phoenix, AZ 85016
As one of Phoenix’s first resorts, the Arizona Biltmore opened in 1929, at the end of the Roaring 20s. Built by brothers Albert, Charles, and Warren McArthur, the trio of architects relied heavily on the influence and style of the iconic Frank Lloyd Wright, who served as a consultant. Boasting eight swimming pools, seven tennis courts, two golf courses, five restaurants, and its very own top-of-the-line spa, The Arizona Biltmore is a destination in itself. With its 740 guest rooms and 78 villas, The Arizona Biltmore has been the temporary home to U.S. presidents, Hollywood celebrities, and travelers from every corner of the globe.
The distinctive influence of Frank Lloyd Wright is evidenced in the interior design of the resort's 738 guest accommodations. Mission-style furnishings and textiles in desert palettes of beige, sand and ivory dress the rooms. 1930's style lamps bring a western flair to the decor while reinforcing the period in which the hotel was built. The spacious rooms feature well-stocked mini-bars, a working desk with two chairs, two telephones equipped with voice-mail and speed dialing; marble baths and double sinks, hairdryers, make-up mirror and scale. Located throughout the 39 acres of magnificently manicured gardens, including the historic Main Building and Garden wing, classic rooms feature limited views of the mountains, gardens, or city.
Set in the heart of Phoenix, the Arizona Biltmore has been a favorite of celebrities and U.S. presidents throughout its colorful history.
