San Diego International Airport (SAN)

San Diego International Airport (SAN) is three miles northwest of downtown San Diego. Over 80 shops and restaurants at San Diego International Airport are offered from gift shops to newsstands to fast food to a number of bar & grills. Valet, short & long term and economy parking are available. San Diego International Airport can also be reached via public transportation, including the San Diego Trolley – the city’s light rail network, which serves downtown, the Convention Center, San Diego State University, Old Town and the Mexican border. The Rental Car Center is located offsite with a complimentary shuttle service that runs between the two airport terminals.
