Terms & Conditions

Please note: All purchases of travel, hotel packages, car rentals, baggage and seat fees, related booking fees and surcharges, carrier charges and taxes are non-refundable. For hotel only bookings, please see our cancellation policy under the "Hotels" subsection.

After a reservation is made, no credit or refund is given for any price differences. No credit is given for changes or cancellations within seven (7) days of scheduled departure, unless you have purchased TripFlexTM. Purchasing Trip FlexTM at the time of booking gives you the flexibility to change and cancel your reservation without fees (see below for details).

No-Show Policy:  For travel starting August 16, 2017, failure to board a flight or to change or cancel an itinerary within the specified cancellation policies set forth below shall be deemed a customer-initiated cancellation and the remaining itinerary, including any return flights, will be canceled and all funds will be forfeited.

No credit or refunds will be given for no shows, cancellations made past cut-off times (see below), or for fare differences after a reservation has been made.

Otherwise, credit is provided minus carrier charges, booking fees, and cancellation fees, except that cancellation fees do not apply if Trip Flex was purchased (the amount paid for Trip Flex itself is non-refundable). Any credited funds will be applied as a non-refundable, non-transferable credit voucher good for future travel on Allegiant Air. All travel involving credit voucher funds from a given itinerary number must be completed no later than 365 days from the original booking date under that itinerary number.

Exception: Within twenty-four (24) hours of purchase, an itinerary may be canceled for a full refund only if the flight’s scheduled departure time is at least seven (7) days or more from original booking.

Best Price Guarantee

For new bookings starting September 25, 2017, if you find a lower total price on your vacation package (air/hotel, air/car, or air/hotel/car) on another booking website within 48 hours of your initial Allegiant booking, Allegiant will issue you a dollar-off voucher* for 100% of the difference. The dollar-off voucher is valid for purchase of future travel products from Allegiant Air. The lower priced package must include taxes and fees, must be available to the general public for booking on a website in the same currency, and using the same form of payment as your original reservation at the time of your claim. The lower total price total must be an exact match to the itinerary booked with Allegiant (excluding air carrier), including offering a comparable cancellation policy. Origination and destination airports must be within 40 miles of the originally booked itinerary. In order to make a Best Price Guarantee claim, you must call Allegiant’s Customer Care line at (702) 505-8888, and the agent must be able to replicate the entire vacation package during your claim call. A claim may only be made once per itinerary. An itinerary does not qualify if modifications have been made to the initial itinerary at the time of claim.

*Dollar-off vouchers are valid for one year from the date of issuance and only for Allegiant Air travel product purchases.  They can be used only once and any remaining value is forfeited.

If TripFlexTM is canceled within 24 hours through Customer Care, a refund will be issued. If TripFlexTM is canceled online, a non-refundable, non-transferable voucher good for future travel for 365 days from the original book date will be issued. • Cancellations of just the air ticket portion of an itinerary must be completed at least one (1) hour prior to scheduled departure; however, any remaining package items such as hotel, activities and auto will be forfeited. Allegiant retains carrier charges, cost of TripFlexTM and related booking fees.
  • Changes for a vacation package itinerary must be completed at least seventy-two (72) hours or more prior to scheduled departure. All changes are subject to availability plus any increase in airfare, hotel and auto rental price. Customers are responsible for any change in price for airfare, hotel, car rental, etc.

Trip FlexTM may be canceled only within 24 hours of purchase, provided no changes have been made to the itinerary. A refund will be issued if Trip FlexTM is canceled within 24 hours through Customer Care, or a credit voucher good for future travel on Allegiant Air will be issued if canceled online.

Hotels - the following rules apply:

Allegiant Vacations, LLC (“Allegiant Vacations”), an Allegiant Air Affiliate, has pre-negotiated certain nightly room rates with hotel suppliers to facilitate the booking of your hotel reservations through Allegiant Vacations. The hotel bookings are made by Allegiant Vacations with the hotel on behalf of the customer and include amounts paid by Allegiant Vacations to the hotel as well as compensation retained by Allegiant Vacations for its facilitation services.  The amounts you are charged also include tax recovery charges. Taxes are calculated based on the applicable hotel/room tax rate in the location of your hotel.  Some jurisdictions apply their tax only to the portion of the room charge received by the hotel, while other jurisdictions apply their tax to the full amount you pay, which includes our compensation for our services.  Tax recovery charges include the amount we pay to the hotel for taxes including, but not limited to, sales and use tax, occupancy tax, room tax, excise tax, value added tax, and/or other similar taxes.  In many jurisdictions, the hotel vendor remits these taxes to the taxing authorities.   In other jurisdictions, Allegiant Vacations may be responsible for remitting the taxes it has collected to the taxing authorities.

Allegiant Vacations has made your hotel reservation for you under Allegiant's contract with the hotel.  Any changes to your reservation must be made through Allegiant. Upon check-in at your hotel, you will be required to present a credit card for your incidental charges. Only your room and room tax have been paid for as part of your reservation. All other charges are your responsibility. NOTE: There must be one adult staying in each room. Check-in age varies by hotel. Some hotels may charge a mandatory resort fee at the time of check-in that is solely the responsibility of the guest. The resort fee is not included in the price collected by Allegiant and is charged solely by the hotels to offer guests added value during their stay. Examples of these fees include resort fees, spa fees, parking, daily fees, energy surcharges, phone charges and/or gratuities. Check-in and check-out times vary by hotel.

Cancellation Policy for Hotel Only Bookings: Changes to reservations are not permitted within 24 hours of the check-in date and a refund or credit will not be issued for late changes. The reference time used for our cancellation policy regarding hotel reservations is 12:00 AM midnight, pacific time (PT). Hotel reservations may be cancelled for a full refund up to 7 days prior to the check-in date of your stay. Cancellations made less than 7 days but more than 24 hours prior to the check-in date of your stay will receive a refund minus the charge for the first night hotel stay and applicable taxes and fees.  No name changes on the reservation are permitted.  Minimum check-in age varies by hotel property.

Cancellation Policy for Hotel Packages: Cancellations made for hotel packages are non-refundable.

Washington State: If transportation or other services are cancelled by the seller of travel, all sums paid to the seller of travel for services not performed in accordance with the contract between the seller of travel and the purchaser will be refunded within thirty (30) days of receiving the funds from the vendor with whom the services were arranged, or if the funds were not sent to the vendor, the funds shall be returned within fourteen (14) days after cancellation by the seller of travel to the purchaser unless the purchaser requests the seller of travel to apply the money to another travel product and/or date.

Auto Rentals - the following rules apply:

Car rental taxes, surcharges and fees are not part of your package price and will be collected directly by the rental car agent at time of auto rental pick up. These fees are common to all rental car companies and are based on car size and season. Fees may include Concession Recoupment Fee, Surcharge/Tire Battery Fee, License Recoupment Fee, state tax, and drop fee.

Acceptance of change in rental is subject to vehicle availability. Customer is responsible for any increase in rental rate.

After a rented vehicle is picked up, any changes (e.g., extending the rental dates) must be made through the rental car company directly. If you drop off your auto rental early, no credit or refund will be issued. If you do not show up for your scheduled auto rental pick-up or cancel within the specified cancellation window prior to your scheduled pick-up time, your entire auto rental payment will be forfeited.

Drivers must be at least 21 years of age at the time of the rental. Drivers age 21-24 may be charged an underage rental fee per day at time of rental pickup.

All renters are required to have a clean driving record, a valid major credit card and a valid driver's license in the name of the renter at the time of rental. A passport is required for all non-U.S. citizens. Most rental car pick-up locations accept only credit cards and do not accept debit card or check cards (meaning any non-credit card bearing the Visa or MasterCard logo) or gift or prepaid cards, and the locations that do accept these forms of payment will require proof of round-trip travel such as an airline ticket or cruise confirmation.
