Allways Rewards® Terms and Conditions
Effective August 18, 2021
General
The following terms and conditions govern participation in the Allegiant Vacations, LLC (“Allegiant”) Allways Rewards® Program (hereafter referred to as the “Program”).
It is the member’s responsibility to read and understand these terms and conditions and to monitor for any future changes. A Member is defined as a person who enrolls in the Allways Rewards® Program and is not a corporation or entity. Allegiant will use reasonable efforts to advise active Members of Program matters of interest through such means as may be appropriate, but Allegiant will have no liability for any failure to do so. Allegiant will not be responsible for correspondence lost or delayed in email or mail. Members will be responsible for advising Allegiant of their current email and mailing address, and Allegiant will have no liability for misdirected mail or any consequences thereof. The current version of the terms and conditions are available at Allegiantair.com. All changes to the terms and conditions, including the number of Points (as defined below) required for a reward, are retroactive and apply to all previously accumulated Points.
These terms and conditions control your Membership and participation in the Program. By enrolling or participating in the Program, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions. You acquire no rights of any kind, including property rights in accrued Points or rewards, by your participation in the Program. Allegiant may interpret and apply these terms and conditions in its sole discretion. Allegiant may terminate the Program with 180 days’ notice published on Allegiantair.com. Allegiant may modify the Program at any time, with or without notice, including by making changes to any Program benefits, conditions of participation, or Point and reward values, even where the changes might affect the value of Points already accumulated. Allegiant may, among other things, withdraw, limit, modify or cancel any reward, increase the Points required for any reward, add blackout dates, or limit the number of reward seats available to destinations. No Points, benefits or vouchers earned or granted under the Program may be transferred or assigned without Allegiant’s express permission.
Any of the following actions by Member or anyone acting on the Member’s behalf may result in the termination of such Member’s Membership, the loss or cancellation of accrued Points, vouchers, rewards and Program benefits, and will not be eligible to re-enroll: (i) any failure to follow these terms and conditions or Allegiant’s fare rules, (ii) any abuse of Program privileges, (iii) any violation of law, rules, or regulations, (iv) any conduct detrimental to the interests of Allegiant, (v) any fraudulent activity or attempted fraudulent activity, or (vi) any misrepresentation of any information furnished to Allegiant or its affiliates.
Points expire after 24 months of inactivity, meaning all accrued Points in a Member’s Allways account will be forfeited if the Member is inactive for 24 months. Activity means either (i) making a transaction on Allegiantair.com or through the Allegiant Customer Care Center, or (ii) holding an open Allegiant credit card. If a Member’s Allegiant credit card is closed for any reason, the Member’s points will expire 24 months after the card close date unless the Member makes a transaction with Allegiant during that period, regardless of the form of payment. Points will be forfeited upon the closing of a Member’s Allways account.
Members may access their Point balance and earning and redemption activity online at Allegiantair.com by logging into their account with the requested information or by contacting Allegiant Customer Care at 702-505-8888 which is open 24/7. Members must notify Allegiant, via Allegiantair.com or Allegiant Customer Care, of any Point discrepancies in their accounts within 6 months of the posting date of the transaction for which the adjustment is sought. Members will be asked to confirm their identities and certain account information before an Allegiant representative can discuss account details or make any changes to Member accounts. Bank of America should be contacted directly for any credit card billing questions or disputes.
Allegiant reserves the right to audit Member accounts at any time and without notice to the Member to ensure compliance with these terms and conditions. If the audit reveals any violation or discrepancy, then Allegiant may suspend Point accruals and redemptions, and the processing of rewards, until such violations or discrepancies are reviewed and resolved to Allegiant’s satisfaction. Allegiant may terminate the Membership or suspend access to the Points balance of any Member at any time and for any reason it deems appropriate. Allegiant is not responsible for unauthorized access to a Member’s account and will not replace lost or stolen Points or rewards.
Allegiant Credit Card
Only individuals who have been approved for the Allegiant credit card through Bank of America N.A., and have qualifying Card Account Activity* on the card may participate in the Allegiant Credit Card Program. Corporations, groups and other entities are not eligible. Cardholder Member accounts are subject to the full Allegiant Credit Card Program Rules as set forth by Bank of America, and it is the cardholder’s responsibility to read and understand such terms and to monitor for any future changes.
A new Allegiant credit cardholder will either have a new Allways® account created or the Member’s existing Allways® account will be linked to the new Allegiant credit card at the time of approval. A Member with a new Allways® account will have to create a password online before being able to access Account Activity and process any point redemptions.
*“Card Account Activity” means a qualifying Point-earning purchase on the Allegiant credit card as defined by the Allegiant Credit Card Program Rules, provided by Bank of America and the award of any Points directly from Allegiant for promotional or bonus purposes.
Earning Allways® Points
Allways® Points (hereafter referred to as “Points”) can be accrued by:
- Making a flight package purchase on Allegiantair.com while being logged into your Allways® account;
- Making a flight package purchase through the Allegiant Customer Care Center (whether by phone, email, or chat) after verifying your Allways® account information;
- Using the Allegiant credit card for qualifying purchases as detailed in the cardholder Program Rules; or
- Allegiant’s award of promotional, bonus and other Points.
Allways® points earned through transactions made through Allegiant will be earned 72 hours after midnight of the itinerary completion date. Itinerary completion date means the final date of your travel itinerary, which could be the date of a final flight segment, an auto rental return date, or a hotel checkout date, depending on what date is the last in the itinerary. This does not pertain to points earned via the Allegiant credit card, which may take 4-6 weeks to appear in the Member’s account depending upon the period between monthly bills or billing statements as defined in the Allegiant credit card agreement. Allegiant may make bonus and promotional Point offers selectively available to certain Members at any time, based on flight activity, geographic locations, Program participation, or other factors determined by Allegiant.
Points cannot be earned by booking hotel-only or rental car-only itineraries. Itineraries must include at least one flight segment to be qualified to earn Points.
Points are earned based on qualified spend. Taxes and fees are not considered qualified spend. Qualified spend is defined as the amount paid out of pocket, whether that amount is full price or a discounted or sale price, and does not include amounts covered by dollar off vouchers or promo codes. Credit vouchers are eligible for Point earning when the voucher is used (points will be available 72 hours after itinerary completion). Credit vouchers must be used in order to earn Points. Expired credit vouchers will not earn Points.
Points will accrue in the Allways® account of the primary Member. Points cannot be combined, accrued, or transferred from multiple accounts, except in the case of a Member with a secondary card whose Points will accrue to the primary Member’s account. Members may not delegate or grant access (via power of attorney, contract, or otherwise) to a third party. The accumulation of Points does not entitle Members to any vested rights with respect to any rewards or the Program.
Redeeming Allways® Points
Points can be redeemed on Allegiantair.com for flights, hotels, car rentals and destination attractions up to the full purchase price of a Member’s itinerary, including taxes and applicable fees. Points cannot be redeemed for non-airfare travel packages. At least one airfare segment must be included in an itinerary in order to redeem Points. Point redemption starts at 1 Point. Allegiant may modify the number of Points required for a reward and the redemption options at any time, and the number of Points required may vary based on destination, day of travel, demand, Point redemption rate, and other factors. Any modifications will apply regardless of the reward levels and terms in effect at the time the Points were accrued. The number of Points required for a reward will be the number of Points set by Allegiant when Points are redeemed for the reward, not when Points were accrued. Members must have an active profile on Allegiantair.com in order to redeem Points for a reward. Rewards may be in the name of the Member or in the name and for use of any other person the Member designates when purchasing the itinerary. The name associated with the reward ticket reservation must match exactly the name on the passenger’s government identification or passport. Points accrued in two or more different accounts may not be combined to redeem any reward. Points will be deducted from the Member’s account at the time the reward reservation is made. Allegiant may charge administrative or other fees associated with Point redemption through Allegiantair.com. Any tax implications of a reward, if applicable, are the responsibility of the Member.
Itinerary cancellations must be in accordance with Allegiant’s standard policy. Points redeemed for itineraries that are subsequently canceled will be returned in the form of a credit voucher.
Rewards for air travel will be valid only to destinations served both at the time of the Point redemption/reward issuance and at the time of departure, and Allegiant will not be liable for schedule changes that result in the cancellation of service to or from any destination.
Point redemption may alter your total itinerary cost depending on how the Points being redeemed were earned. Points earned on items subject to Federal Excise Tax (hereafter referred to as “FET”) may reduce the FET of the itinerary in which the Points are being redeemed, thereby reducing the total itinerary cost. Points are applied in the following order in order to provide the most advantageous cost benefit to the Member: (1) FET earned points to the extent the points are redeemed for items subject to FET; (2) non-FET earned points; (3) excess FET earned points. In the event a Member has no FET earned points, the FET imposed on the itinerary cost will not be reduced upon point redemption. Depending on how many points a Member chooses to redeem as well as whether or not the points were earned on items subject to FET, they may or may not see the FET amount change.
Buy One Get One Airfare
Allegiant credit cardholders can get one companion airfare per purchased itinerary on Allegiant every time the following criteria are met:
- A four night hotel stay or a seven day car rental accompanies the Member’s flight purchase and is booked through Allegiant Member Services,
- The Member’s full itinerary is purchased with the Member’s Allegiant credit card through Allegiant Member Services and the Member is a passenger on the itinerary,
- The free airfare itinerary matches the itinerary of the cardholder, and
- Itineraries for both tickets are booked, purchased and ticketed at the same time through Allegiant Member Services.
Point redemptions are not valid for the Buy One Get One Airfare. A cancellation of any part of the purchased itinerary will result in a cancellation of the full itinerary for both the Member and the companion. The Buy One Get One Airfare offer is not retroactive or valid for existing itineraries that have already been purchased, ticketed or flown. The Buy One Get One Airfare may only be booked by contacting Allegiant Member Services. This offer does not constitute a right of Membership and can be rescinded or modified at any time by Allegiant.
Inflight Benefits
Allegiant credit cardholders can receive complimentary priority boarding and one free beverage on board every flight by presenting their valid Allegiant credit card to the gate agent upon boarding and to the flight attendant upon ordering a beverage, respectively.
Privacy Policy
