myAllegiant Rewards™ Terms and Conditions
Effective September 1, 2016
The following terms and conditions govern participation in the Allegiant Vacations, LLC (“Allegiant”) myAllegiant Rewards™ Program (hereafter referred to as the “Program”). Only individuals who are 18 years of age and older and have been approved for the Allegiant World Mastercard® through Bank of America N.A. and have qualifying Account Activity* on the card may participate in the Program. Such individuals will hereafter be referred to as “you” or “your” or “Member.” Corporations, groups and other entities are not eligible. It is the Member’s responsibility to read and understand these terms and conditions as well as the Allegiant World Mastercard® Program Rules, and to monitor for any future changes. Allegiant will use reasonable efforts to advise active Members of Program matters of interest through such means as may be appropriate, but Allegiant will have no liability for any failure to do so. Allegiant will not be responsible for correspondence lost or delayed in email or mail. Members shall be responsible for advising Allegiant of their current email and mailing address and Allegiant shall have no liability for misdirected mail or any consequences thereof. The current version of the terms and conditions are available at Allegiant.com. Any and all changes to the terms and conditions, including the number of Points (as defined below) required for a reward, are retroactive and apply to all previously accumulated Points.
These terms and conditions control your membership and participation in the Program. By enrolling and/or participating in the Program, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions. No rights of any kind, including property rights in accrued Points or rewards, are acquired by participation in the Program. There are no exceptions to these terms and conditions except for those outlined herein. Allegiant reserves the right to interpret and apply these terms and conditions in its sole discretion. Allegiant has the right to terminate the Program with 180 days’ notice published on Allegiant.com. The Program may be modified at any time, with or without notice, including changes to any Program benefits, conditions of participation, or Point and reward values, even where the changes might affect the value of Points already accumulated. Allegiant may, among other things, withdraw, limit, modify or cancel any reward, increase the Points required for any reward, add blackout dates, or limit the number of reward seats available to any or all destinations. No Points, benefits or vouchers earned or granted under the Program may be transferred or assigned except as expressly permitted by Allegiant.
Any failure to follow these terms and conditions, Allegiant’s fare rules, any abuse of Program privileges, any violation of law, rules or regulations, any conduct detrimental to the interests of Allegiant, any fraudulent activity or attempted fraudulent activity, or any misrepresentation of any information furnished to Allegiant or its affiliates by any Member or anyone acting on the Member’s behalf, may result in the termination of such Member’s membership, the loss or cancellation of accrued Points, vouchers, rewards and Program benefits. Members’ whose membership have been terminated shall not be eligible to participate in any aspect of the Program and Members whose accounts have been terminated shall not be eligible to enroll with new accounts.
Points do not expire, however all accrued Points in a Member’s account will be canceled and/or forfeited if the Member’s Allegiant World Mastercard® account is closed for any reason. In cases where travel redemptions are canceled for any reason and a credit voucher is issued to compensate for the value of the redeemed amount, use of the voucher does not count as Account Activity. Member accounts are subject to the full Allegiant World Mastercard® Program Rules as put forth by Bank of America and it is the Member’s responsibility to read and understand such terms.
New Allegiant World Mastercard® holders will either have a new myAllegiant™ account created for them or their existing myAllegiant™ account will be linked to their new card at time of approval. Members with a new myAllegiant™ account will have to create a password online before they are able to access Account Activity and process any point redemptions.
*“Account Activity” is a qualifying Point earning purchase on the Allegiant World Mastercard® as defined by the Allegiant World Mastercard® Program Rules provided by Bank of America and any Points that are awarded directly from Allegiant for promotional or bonus purposes.
Members may access their Point balance, and earning and redemption activity online at Allegiant.com by logging into their account with the requested information or by contacting myAllegiant™ Member Services at 702-800-2088 during normal hours of operation. Members must notify Allegiant of any Point discrepancies in their account within 6 months of the posting date of the transaction for which the adjustment is sought via Allegiant.com or myAllegiant™ Member Services. Members will be asked to confirm their identities and certain account information before a myAllegiant™ Member Service representative can discuss account details or make any changes to Member accounts. Bank of America should be contacted directly for any credit card billing questions or disputes.
Allegiant reserves the right to audit Member accounts at any time and without notice to the Member to ensure compliance with these terms and conditions. In the event the audit reveals any violation or discrepancy, Point accruals, redemptions and the processing of rewards may be suspended until such violations or discrepancies are reviewed and resolved to Allegiant’s satisfaction. Allegiant reserves the right to terminate the membership and/or suspend access to the Points balance of any Member at any time and for any reason it deems appropriate. Allegiant is not responsible for unauthorized access to a Member’s account and will not replace lost or stolen Points or rewards.
Earning myAllegiant™ Points
myAllegiant™ Points (hereafter referred to as “Points”) can be accrued by:
- Using the Allegiant World Mastercard® for qualifying purchases as detailed in the cardholder Program Rules
- Promotional, bonus and other Points awarded by Allegiant
Allegiant reserves the right to make bonus and promotional Point offers selectively available to certain Members at any time, based on flight activity, geographic locations, Program participation, or other factors determined at Allegiant’s sole discretion. Points accrued in this manner and on the Allegiant World Mastercard® may take 4-6 weeks to appear in a Member’s account depending upon the time period between monthly bills or billing statements as defined in your Credit Card Agreement.
Points will accrue in the myAllegiant™ account of the primary Member. Points cannot be combined, accrued or transferred from multiple accounts except in the case of a Member with a secondary card whose Points will accrue to the primary Member’s account. Members may not delegate or grant access (via power of attorney, contract, or otherwise) to a third party. The accumulation of Points does not entitle Program Members to any vested rights with respect to any rewards or the Program.
Redeeming myAllegiant™ Points
myAllegiant™ Points can be redeemed for flights, hotels, car rentals and destination attractions up to the full purchase price of a Member itinerary on Allegiant.com, including taxes and applicable fees. Point redemption starts at 1 Point. If the dollar value of the Member’s Point balance is greater than the full purchase price of the Member’s itinerary, the Member will only have the option to redeem the number of Points that corresponds to a dollar value that is commensurate to the full purchase price of the Member’s itinerary, including taxes and applicable fees. If the Member’s Point balance’s corresponding dollar value is less than the total transaction amount, the Member will only have the option to redeem their entire Point balance on the Member’s itinerary. The number of Points required for a reward and the redemption options may be modified at any time in Allegiant’s sole discretion, and may vary based on destination, day of travel, demand, Point redemption rate, and other factors. Any modifications shall apply regardless of the reward levels and terms in effect at the time the Points were accrued. The number of Points required for a reward will be the number of Points set by Allegiant when Points are redeemed for the reward, not when Points were accrued. Allegiant shall establish the process for Point redemption. Members must have an active profile on Allegiant.com in order to redeem Points for a reward. Rewards may be in the name of the Member or in the name and for use of any other person the Member designates when purchasing the itinerary. The name associated with the reward ticket reservation must match exactly the name on the passenger’s government identification or passport. Points accrued in two or more different accounts may not be combined to redeem any reward. Points will be deducted from the Member’s account at the time the reward reservation is made. Allegiant reserves the right to charge administrative or other fees associated with Point redemption through Allegiant.com. Any tax implications of a reward, if applicable, are the responsibility of the Member.
Itinerary cancellations must be in accordance with Allegiant’s standard policy. Points redeemed for itineraries subsequently canceled will not be returned to a Member’s account, but rather a credit voucher will be issued for the reward itinerary value. Such voucher will contain an expiration date based on date of issuance. The amount of Points required to be redeemed for any reward may be increased, any reward may be withdrawn, and restrictions on any reward or its redemption may be imposed at any time in Allegiant’s sole discretion, with or without notice.
Rewards for air travel shall be valid only to destinations served both at the time of the Point redemption/reward issuance and at the time of departure and Allegiant will not be liable for schedule changes that result in the cancellation of service to or from any destination.
Buy One Get One Airfare
Members have the ability to get one companion airfare per purchased itinerary on Allegiant every time the following criteria are met:
- A four night hotel stay and/or a seven day car rental must accompany the Member’s flight purchase and be booked through myAllegiant™ Member Services
- The Member’s full itinerary must be purchased with the Member’s Allegiant World Mastercard® through myAllegiant™ Member Services and the Member must be a passenger on the itinerary
- The free airfare itinerary must match the itinerary of the Member
- Itineraries for both tickets must be booked, purchased and ticketed at the same time through myAllegiant™ Member Services
Point redemptions are not valid for the Buy One Get One Airfare. A cancellation of any part of the purchased itinerary will result in a cancellation of the full itinerary for both the Member and the companion. The Buy One Get One Airfare offer is not retroactive or valid for existing itineraries that have already been purchased, ticketed or flown. The Buy One Get One Airfare may only be booked by contacting myAllegiant™ Member Services. This offer does not constitute a right of membership and can be rescinded or modified at any time by Allegiant.
Members can receive complimentary priority boarding and one free beverage on board every flight by showing their valid Allegiant World Mastercard® to the gate agent upon boarding and/or the flight attendant upon ordering a beverage.
